英文摘要:
In this paper, I present almost my works performed during my time at VNU. I was interested in the composite Skyrme model proposed by H. Y. Cheung and F. Gursey. The expanding for this model based on results obtained from the original Skyrme model given by T. H. R. Skyrme in 1961 was general and interesting.
A qualitative discussion on the range of the potentials as they result from the phenomenological meson-exchange picture and from lattice simulations by the HAL QCD Collaboration is presented. For the former pion- and/or $η$-meson exchange are considered together with the scalar-isoscalar component of correlated $ππ/K \bar K$ exchange. It is observed that the intuitive expectation for the behavior of the baryon-baryon potentials for large separations, associated with the exchange of one and/or two pions, does not always match with the potentials extracted from the lattice simulations. Only in c…
We study the critical properties of net-baryon-number fluctuations at the chiral restoration transition in a medium at finite temperature and net baryon density. The chiral dynamics of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) is modeled by the Polykov-loop extended Quark-Meson Lagrangian, that includes the coupling of quarks to vector meson and temporal gauge fields. The Functional Renormalization Group is employed to properly account for the $O(4)$ criticality at the phase boundary. We focus on the properties and systematics of ratios of the net-baryon-number cumulants $χ_B^n$, for ${1\leq n\leq 6}$, nea…
We investigate the mass spectra of exotic hadrons known as pentaquarks. We extend a simple phenomenological model based on the Gürsey-Radicati mass formula for hadrons to include both charmed and bottom baryons as well as to be able to predict masses of pentaquark states including both charm and bottom quark-antiquark pairs. In particular, we perform numerical fits of this model, which includes seven free parameters, to masses of 21 baryons. We find that the model can be well fitted to the experimental values of the baryon masses and observe that the predicted value of about 4400 MeV for the m…
We investigate the mass spectra of exotic hadrons known as hexaquarks in the form of dibaryons. We use a phenomenological model based on an extended version of the Gürsey-Radicati mass formula for hadrons to include non-charmed baryons, charmed baryons, and non-strange dibaryons to be able to predict masses of potential dibaryon states. We perform six numerical fits of this model to input data for three different sets of masses of baryons and dibaryons. We find that the model can fit some of the data sets well, especially the sets including charmed baryons and non-strange dibaryons, and observ…
Recently, a new form of dark matter has been suggested to naturally reproduce the empirically successful aspects of Milgrom's law in galaxies. The dark matter particle candidates are axion-like, with masses of order eV and strong self-interactions. They Bose-Einstein condense into a superfluid phase in the central regions of galaxy halos. The superfluid phonon excitations in turn couple to baryons and mediate an additional long-range force. For a suitable choice of the superfluid equation of state, this force can mimic Milgrom's law. In this paper we develop in detail some of the main phenomen…
We present a study of the reaction $π^-p \to ne^+e^-$ for $\sqrt{s}=1.49\,\textrm{GeV}$, including non-resonant Born terms and contributions of the $N(1440)$, $N(1520)$, $N(1535)$ resonances ($R$), using an effective-Lagrangian model, which we extended by a phenomenological phase factor at the $RNρ$ vertex function. We give predictions for both the differential cross section $dσ/dm$ and the spin density matrix elements of the virtual photon that decays into the lepton pair. In the studied energy range, the cross section is dominated by the Born and $N(1520)$ contributions.
A 5th force coupling to baryon number $B$ has been proposed to account for the correlations between the acceleration differences $Δa_{ij}$ of the samples studied in the Eötvös experiment, and the corresponding differences in the baryon-to-mass ratios $Δ(B/μ)_{ij}$. To date the Eötvös results have not been supported by modern experiments. Here we investigate the phenomenological implications of a possible magnetic analog $\vec{\mathscr{B}}_5$ of the conventional 5th force electric field, $\vec{\mathscr{E}}_5$, arising from the Earth's rotation. We demonstrate that, in the presence of couplings …
