To clarify superconductivity in EuFe2As2 hidden by antiferromagnetism of Eu2+, we investigated a Ca-substituted sample, Eu0.5Ca0.5Fe2As2, under high pressure. For ambient pressure, the sample exhibits a spin-density-wave (SDW) transition at TSDW = 191 K and antiferromagnetic order at TN = 4 K, but no evidence of superconductivity down to 2 K. Here, we report on the observation of superconductivity in a kagome single crystal Pd3P2S8 when a semiconducting to metallic transition is driven by pressure. We report resistivity measurements of the helimagnet CrAs under pressures. The helimagnetic transition with T_N ~ 265 K at ambient pressure is completely suppressed above a critical pressure of P_c ~ 0.7 GPa, and superconductivity is observed at ~2.2 K for zero resistance, which exists in a wide pressure range extending beyond 3 GPa. We have performed several high pressure electrical resistance experiments on Bi1.98Sr2.06Y0.68Cu2O8, an insulating parent compound of the high-Tc Bi2212 family of copper oxide superconductors. We find a resistive anomaly, a downturn at low temperature, that onsets with applied pressure in the 20-40 kbar range. Through both resistance and magnetoresistance measurements, we identify this anomaly as a signature of induced superconductivity. Within the kinetic energy driven superconducting mechanism, the effect of the pressure on superconductivity in doped two-leg ladder cuprates is studied. I briefly mention a previous claim of room temperature superconductivity ( arXiv:0905.3524) in Ag-based oxide material and compare their results with the most recent claim of ambient temperature superconductivity in arXiv:1807.08572. We report resistivity and calorimetric measurements on two single crystals of CePd2Si2 pressurized up to 7.4 GPa. A weak uniaxial stress induced in the pressure cell demonstrates the sensitivity of the physics to anisotropy. At atmospheric pressure, this material is antiferromagnetic below 170 K but under an applied pressure of 0.69 GPa becomes superconducting, with a transition temperature Tc exceeding 10 K. Under hydrostatic pressure the antiferromagnetic order vanishes near p_c*=2 GPa due to a first order transition. We present direct evidence of a superconducting state existing in the title compound below 300 mK under quasi-hydrostatic pressure. The superconducing transition is observed in the whole pressure range studied, 0 < P < 4 kbar. We studied the effect of hydrostatic pressure (P) on the structural phase transitions and superconductivity in the ternary and pseudo-ternary iron arsenides CaFe2As2, BaFe2As2, and (Ba0.55K0.45)Fe2As2, by means of measurements of electrical resistivity (rho) in the 1.8 - 300 K temperature (T) range, pressures up to 20 kbar, and magnetic fields up to 9 T. We report a pressure ($P$) effect on CeCu$_2$(Si$_{0.98}$Ge$_{0.02}$)$_2$ where an antiferromagnetic (AFM) order at $T_N \sim$ 0.75 K coexists with superconductivity below $T_c \sim$ 0.4 K\@. We study the electronic properties of a LaEu0.20Sr0.15CuO4 single crystal under hydrostatic pressure up to 2.9 GPa. Both the freezing of the Cu 3d moments and the structural transition from the orthorhombic (LTO) to the tetragonal (LTT) phase are observed via the relaxation of the nuclear magnetization of La nuclei. Resistivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements have been carried out under pressure on the same sample. The combination of all data reveals the connection between glassy dynamics, charge localization and the disappearance of superconductivity in the LTT phase.
We have successfully grown single crystalline NaFeAs with cobalt or phosphor doping. Bulk superconductivity occurs in NaFe$_{0.95}$Co$_{0.05}$As at 19 K while much higher transition temperature is observed in NaFeAs$_{0.8}$P$_{0.2}$, in which the Tc of 33 K is even higher than the highest value realized by applying pressure in NaFeAs and all other isoelectronic element substituted samples. We discuss these behaviours by comparison with 122 and 1111 systems. We hope that our findings will help improve our understanding of iron-based superconductivity.
We report the discovery of superconductivity at a pressure-induced magnetic quantum critical point in the Kondo-lattice system CeSb2, sustained up to magnetic fields that exceed the conventional Pauli limit eight-fold. Like CeRh2As2, CeSb2 is locally non-centrosymmetric around the Ce-site, but the evolution of critical fields and normal state properties as CeSb2 is tuned through the quantum critical point motivates a fundamentally different explanation for its resilience to applied field.

The effect of uniaxial pressure on superconductivity was examined for a high-Tc cuprate La1.64Eu0.2Sr0.16CuO4, which is located at the boundary between the superconducting and stripe phases. We report evidence for unconventional superconductivity in CeIn_3 at a pressure P = 2.65 GPa above critical pressure (P_c ~ 2.5 GPa) revealed by the measurements of nuclear-spin-lattice-relaxation time (T_1) and ac-susceptibility (ac-chi). Both the measurements of T_1 and ac-chi have pointed to a superconducting transition at T_c = 95 mK, which is much lower than an onset temperature T_{onset} = 0.15 K at zero resistance. The effect of hydrostatic pressure on the superconducting transition temperature of Na{0.35}CoO{2}.yH{2}O was investigated by ac susceptibility measurements up to 1.6 GPa. We report on magnetization, specific heat and resistivity experiments on single crystals of the novel heavy Fermion compound Ce$_3$PdIn$_{11}$. We present a high-pressure NMR study of the overdoped iron pnictide superconductor NaFe$_{0.94}$Co$_{0.06}$As. The low-energy antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations in the normal state, manifest as the Curie-Weiss upturn in the spin-lattice relaxation rate $1/^{75}T_1T$, first increase strongly with pressure but fall again at $P > P_{\rm opt} =$ 2.2 GPa. Neither long-ranged magnetic order nor a structural phase transition is encountered up to 2.5 GPa. A search for superconductivity has been carried out on the hexagonal polymorph of Laves-phase CaLi2, a compound for which Feng, Ashcroft, and Hoffmann predict highly anomalous behavior under pressure. No superconductivity is observed above 1.10 K at ambient pressure. However, high-pressure ac susceptibility and electrical resistivity studies to 81 GPa reveal bulk superconductivity in CaLi2 at temperatures as high as 13 K. The normal-state resistivity shows a dramatic increase with pressure.

Here, we report on the discovery of superconductivity in van der Waals material Pd3P2S8 under pressure. Following the recent discovery of very high temperature conventional superconductivity in sulfur hydride (critical temperature Tc of 203 K, Ref1) we searched for superconductivity in other hydrides and found that a covalent hydride phosphine (PH3) also exhibits a high Tc >100 K at pressure P > 200 GPa as determined from four-probe electrical measurements.
The effect of pressure on superconductivity of 111 type NaxFeAs is investigated through temperature dependent electrical resistance measurement in a diamond anvil cell. We measured the electrical resistivity of a BiS2-based compound EuFBiS2 under high pressure. Polycrystalline EuFBiS2 shows insulator-metal transition and pressure-induced superconductivity above 0.7 GPa. The superconducting transition temperature increases with increasing applied pressure and shows the maximum value around 8.6 K at 1.8 GPa.
Superconductivity of transition metal dichalcogenide $1T$-TiTe$_2$ under high pressure was investigated by the first-principles calculations. Our results show that the superconductivity of $1T$-TiTe$_2$ exhibits very different behavior under the hydrostatic and uniaxial pressure. The hydrostatic pressure is harmful to the superconductivity, while the uniaxial pressure is beneficial to the superconductivity.
