We investigate the presence of multipartite entanglement in macroscopic spin chains. We discuss the Heisenberg and the XY model and derive bounds on the internal energy for systems without multipartite entanglement. In this paper, we investigate a genuine multipartite entanglement measure based on the geometric method. This measure arrives at the maximal value for the absolutely maximally entangled states and has desirable properties for quantifying the genuine multipartite entanglement. We present a lower bound of the genuine multipartite entanglement measure. At last, we present some examples to show that the genuine entanglement measure is with distinct entanglement ordering from other measures, and we also present the advantages of the measure proposed here with other measures.

We investigate the entanglement features of the quantum states employed in quantum algorithms. In particular, we analyse the multipartite entanglement properties in the Deutsch-Jozsa, Grover and Simon algorithms. Our results show that for these algorithms most instances involve multipartite entanglement.
We derive a set of algebraic equations, the so-called multipartite separability eigenvalue equations. We study the occurrence of multipartite entanglement in spin chains. Multipartite entanglement constitutes one of the key resources in quantum information processing. We exploit correlation tensor norms to develop a framework for its experimental detection without the need for shared frames of reference. By bounding these norms for partially separable states and states of limited dimension we achieve an extensive characterization of entanglement in multipartite systems in an experimentally feasible way. Furthermore we show that both bi- and multipartite dimensionality of entanglement can be revealed by our methods.

We present the experimental detection of genuine multipartite entanglement using entanglement witness operators. To this aim we introduce a canonical way of constructing and decomposing witness operators so that they can be directly implemented with present technology. We apply this method to three- and four-qubit entangled states of polarized photons, giving experimental evidence that the considered states contain true multipartite entanglement.

The scheme for entanglement teleportation is proposed to incorporate multipartite entanglement of four qubits as a quantum channel. Based on the invariance of entanglement teleportation under arbitrary two-qubit unitary transformation, we derive relations of separabilities for joint measurements at a sending station and for unitary operations at a receiving station. From the relations of separabilities it is found that an inseparable quantum channel always leads to a total teleportation of entanglement with an inseparable joint measurement and/or a nonlocal unitary operation.
We analyze multipartite entanglement in systems of spin-1/2 particles from a relativistic perspective. General conditions which have to be met for any classification of multipartite entanglement to be Lorentz invariant are derived, which contributes to a physical understanding of entanglement classification.
