We present the exact solution of the Klein-Gordon equation in D-dimensions in the presence of the noncentral equal scalar and vector pseudoharmonic potential plus the new ring-shaped potential using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. We obtain the exact bound-state energy levels and the corresponding eigen functions for a spin-zero particles. We also find that the solution for this noncentral ring-shaped pseudoharmonic potential can be reduced to the three-dimensional pseudoharmonic solution once the coupling constant of the noncentral part of the potential becomes zero.
We study the effects of the perpendicular magnetic and Aharonov-Bohm (AB) flux fields on the energy levels of a two-dimensional (2D) Klein-Gordon (KG) particle subjects to equal scalar and vector pseudo-harmonic oscillator (PHO). We calculate the exact energy eigenvalues and normalized wave functions in terms of chemical potential parameter, magnetic field strength, AB flux field and magnetic quantum number by means of the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. The non-relativistic limit, PHO and harmonic oscillator solutions in the existence and absence of external fields are also obtained.
A succinct presentation of the algebraic structure of the quantized Klein-Gordon field can be given in terms of a Lorentz invariant inner product. A presentation of a classical Klein-Gordon \emph{random} field at non-zero temperature can be given in the same noncommutative algebraic style, allowing a detailed comparison of the quantized Klein-Gordon field with a classical Klein-Gordon random field.
We explore the Klein-Gordon equation in the framework of crypto-Hermitian quantum mechanics. Solutions to common problems with probability interpretation and indefinite inner product of the Klein-Gordon equation are proposed.
The Dirac equation is compared with the Klein-Gordon one. Unlike the Dirac case, it is proved that the Klein-Gordon equation has problems with the Hamiltonian operator of the Schroedinger picture. A special discussion of the Pauli-Weisskopf article and that of Feshbach-Villars proves that their theories of a charged Klein-Gordon particle lack a self consistent expression for this Hamiltonian. Related difficulties are pointed out.
Relying on the variational principle, it is proved that new contradictions emerge from an analysis of the Lagrangian density of the Klein-Gordon field: normalization problems arise and interaction with external electromagnetic fields cannot take place. By contrast, the Dirac equation is free of these problems. Other inconsistencies arise if the Klein-Gordon field is regarded as a classical field.

The dynamical symmetries of the two-dimensional Klein-Gordon equations with equal scalar and vector potentials (ESVP) are studied. The dynamical symmetries are considered in the plane and the sphere respectively. The generators of the SO(3) group corresponding to the Coulomb potential, and the SU(2) group corresponding to the harmonic oscillator potential are derived. Moreover, the generators in the sphere construct the Higgs algebra. With the help of the Casimir operators, the energy levels of the Klein-Gordon systems are yielded naturally.
In this work, we study the generalized Klein-Gordon oscillator with interactions on a curved background within the Kaluza-Klein theory. Relativistic bound states solutions are achieved to both attractive and repulsive Coulomb-type potentials and the arising of a quantum effect characterized by the dependence of angular frequency of the Klein-Gordon oscillator on the quantum numbers of the system is shown.
