In this paper it is shown that an equivalent to the complex Klein-Gordon equation can be obtained from the (2+3) dimensional Einstein equations coupled to a conserved energy momentum tensor. In an explicit toy model we give matching conditions for what corresponds to the phase, the amplitude, and the mass of the complex wave function.

In this work, we study the generalized Klein-Gordon oscillator with interactions on a curved background within the Kaluza-Klein theory. We solve the generalized Klein-Gordon oscillator in the cosmic string space-time with a linear scalar potential and obtain the energy eigenvalue and corresponding eigenfunction. We explore the Klein-Gordon equation in the framework of crypto-Hermitian quantum mechanics. Solutions to common problems with probability interpretation and indefinite inner product of the Klein-Gordon equation are proposed.
