Remote implementations of partially unknown quantum operations of multiqubits

We propose and prove the protocol of remote implementations of partially unknown quantum operations of multiqubits belonging to the restricted sets. Moreover, we obtain the general and explicit forms of restricted sets and present evidence of their uniqueness and optimization. In addition, our protocol has universal recovery operations that can enhance the power of remote implementations of quantum operations.

Usefulness of Multiqubit W-type States in Quantum Information Processing Task

We analyze the efficacy of multiqubit W-type states as resources for quantum information. For this, we identify and generalize four-qubit W-type states. Our results show that the states can be used as resources for deterministic quantum information processing. The utility of results, however, is limited by the availability of experimental setups to perform and distinguish multiqubit measurements. Controlled remote state preparation via partially entangled quantum channel

We propose two controlled remote state preparation protocols via partially entangled channels. One prepares a single-qubit state and the other prepares a two-qubit state. Different from other controlled remote state preparation schemes which also utilize partially entangled channels, neither auxiliary qubits nor two-qubit unitary transformations are required in our schemes and the success probabilities are independent of the coefficients of the quantum channel. Remote implementation of partially unknown operations and its entanglement costs

We present the generalized version of Wang's protocol[A.M.Wang, Phys.Rev.A 74,032317 (2006)] for the remote implementation(sometimes referred to as quantum remote control) of partially unknown quantum operations. Scheme for remote implementation of partially unknown quantum operation of two qubits in cavity QED

By constructing the recovery operations of the protocol of remote implementation of partially unknown quantum operation of two qubits [An Min Wang: PRA, \textbf{74}, 032317(2006)], we present a scheme to implement it in cavity QED. Long-lived Rydberg atoms are used as qubits, and the interaction between the atoms and the field of cavity is a nonresonant one. Finally, we analyze the experimental feasibility of this scheme.

Deterministic remote preparation of an arbitrary qubit state using a partially entangled state and finite classical communication

We propose a deterministic remote state preparation (RSP) scheme for preparing an arbitrary (including pure and mixed) qubit, where a partially entangled state and finite classical communication are used. To our knowledge, our scheme is the first RSP scheme that fits into this category. Local implementation of nonlocal operations of block forms

We investigate the local implementation of nonlocal operations with the block matrix form, and propose a protocol for any diagonal or offdiagonal block operation. This method can be directly generalized to the two-party multiqubit case and the multiparty case. General criterion for oblivious remote state preparation

A necessary and sufficient condition is given for general exact remote state preparation (RSP) protocols to be oblivious, that is, no information about the target state can be retrieved from the classical message.
