Weak measurements may result in extra quantity of quantumness of correlations compared with standard projective measurement on a bipartite quantum state. We show that the quantumness of correlations by weak measurements can be consumed for information encoding which is only accessible by coherent quantum interactions. In measurement-based quantum computation (MBQC), local adaptive measurements are performed on the quantum state of a lattice of qubits. Quantum gates are associated with a particular measurement sequence, and one way of viewing MBQC is that such a measurement sequence prepares a resource state suitable for `gate teleportation'. We demonstrate how to quantify the performance of quantum gates in MBQC by using correlation functions on the pre-measurement resource state.
We study quantum learning algorithms for quantum measurements. The optimal learning algorithm is derived for arbitrary von Neumann measurements in the case of training with one or two examples. The analysis of the case of three examples reveals that, differently from the learning of unitary gates, the optimal algorithm for learning of quantum measurements cannot be parallelized, and requires quantum memories for the storage of information.

Quantum Bell nonlocality is an important quantum phenomenon. Recently, the shareability of Bell nonlocality under unilateral measurements has been widely studied. In this study, we consider the shareability of quantum Bell nonlocality under bilateral measurements. Under a specific class of projection operators, we find that quantum Bell nonlocality cannot be shared for a limited number of times, as in the case of unilateral measurements. We study the time evolution of two electron spin states in a double quantum-dot system, which includes a nearby quantum point contact (QPC) as a measurement device. We obtain that the QPC measurement induced decoherence is in time scales of microsecond. We also find that the enhanced QPC measurement will trap the system in its initial spin states, which is consistent with quantum Zeno effect.
