We study the general representations of positive partial transpose (PPT) states in ${\cal C}^K \otimes {\cal C}^M \otimes {\cal C}^N$. For the PPT states with rank-$N$ a canonical form is obtained, from which a sufficient separability condition is presented.

Canonical Form and Separability of PPT States in 2xMxN Composite Quantum Systems

We investigate the canonical forms of positive partial transposition (PPT) density matrices in ${\cal C}^2 \otimes {\cal C}^M \otimes {\cal C}^N$ composite quantum systems with rank $N$. A general expression for these PPT states are explicitly obtained. From this canonical form a sufficient separability condition is presented.

Numerical studies of entangled PPT states in composite quantum systems

We report here on the results of numerical searches for PPT states with specified ranks for density matrices and their partial transpose. The study includes several bipartite quantum systems of low dimensions. For a series of ranks extremal PPT states are found. The results are listed in tables and charted in diagrams. Comparison of the results for systems of different dimensions reveal several regularities. We discuss lower and upper bounds on the ranks of extremal PPT states.

By using the "subtracting projectors" method in proving the separability of PPT states on multiple quantum spaces, we derive a canonical form of PPT states in ${\Cb}^{K_1} \otimes {\Cb}^{K_2} \otimes ... \otimes {\Cb}^{K_m} \otimes {\Cb}^N$ composite quantum systems with rank $N$, from which a sufficient separability condition for these states is presented.

Separability bounds on multiqubit moments due to positivity under partial transpose

Positivity of the density operator reflects itself in terms of sequences of inequalities on observable moments. Uncertainty relations for non-commuting observables form a subset of these inequalities. In addition, criterion of positivity under partial transposition (PPT) imposes distinct bounds on moments, violations of which signal entanglement. Separable approximations of density matrices of composite quantum systems

We investigate optimal separable approximations (decompositions) of states rho of bipartite quantum systems A and B of arbitrary dimensions MxN following the lines of Ref. [M. Lewenstein and A. Convex set of quantum states with positive partial transpose analysed by hit and run algorithm

The convex set of quantum states of a composite $K \times K$ system with positive partial transpose is analysed. A version of the hit and run algorithm is used to generate a sequence of random points covering this set uniformly and an estimation for the convergence speed of the algorithm is derived.
