In [ZH], R.B. Zhang found a way to link certain formal deformations of the Lie algebra o(2l+1) and the Lie superalgebra osp(1,2l). The aim of this article is to reformulate the Zhang transformation in the context of the quantum enveloping algebras "à la" Drinfeld-Jimbo and to show how this construction can explain the main theorem of [GL2]: the annihilator of a Verma module over the Lie superalgebra osp(1,2l) is generated by its intersection with the centralizer of the even part of the enveloping algbra.

Quantum coadjoint orbits of GL(n) and generalized Verma modules

In our previous paper, we constructed an explicit GL(n)-equivariant quantization of the Kirillov--Kostant-Souriau bracket on a semisimple coadjoint orbit. In the present paper, we realize that quantization as a subalgebra of endomorphisms of a generalized Verma module. As a corollary, we obtain an explicit description of the annihilators of generalized Verma modules over U(gl(n)). Representations of the deformed U(su(2)) and U(osp(1,2)) algebras

The polynomial deformations of the Witten extensions of the U(su(2)) and U(osp(1,2)) algebras are three generator algebras with normal ordering, admitting a two generator subalgebra. The modules and the representations of these algebras are based on the construction of Verma modules, which are quotient modules, generated by ideals of the original algebra. Modules Over Affine Lie Superalgebras

Modules over affine Lie superalgebras ${\cal G}$ are studied, in particular, for ${\cal G}=\hat{OSP(1,2)}$. It is shown that on studying Verma modules, much of the results in Kac-Moody algebra can be generalized to the super case. Of most importance are the generalized Kac-Kazhdan formula and the Malikov-Feigin-Fuchs construction, which give the weights and the explicit form of the singular vectors in the Verma module over affine Kac-Moody superalgebras. Enveloping algebras with just infinite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension

Let $\mf g$ be the Witt algebra or the positive Witt algebra. It is well known that the enveloping algebra $U(\mf g )$ has intermediate growth and thus infinite Gelfand-Kirillov (GK-) dimension. We prove that the GK-dimension of $U(\mf g)$ is {\em just infinite} in the sense that any proper quotient of $U(\mf g)$ has polynomial growth. This proves a conjecture of Petukhov and the second named author for the positive Witt algebra.
