The main purpose of this paper is the study of a~new class of summing multilinear operators acting from the product of Banach lattices with some nontrivial lattice convexity. A~mixed Pietsch-Maurey-Rosenthal type factorization theorem for these operators is proved under weaker convexity requirements than the ones that are needed in the Maurey-Rosenthal factorization through products of $L^q$-spaces. On the Maurey--Pisier and Dvoretzky--Rogers theorems

A famous theorem due to Maurey and Pisier asserts that for an infinite dimensional Banach space $E$, the infumum of the $q$ such that the identity map $id_{E}$ is absolutely $\left( q,1\right) $-summing is precisely $\cot E$. In the same direction, the Dvoretzky--Rogers Theorem asserts $id_{E}$ fails to be absolutely $\left( p,p\right) $-summing, for all $p\geq1$. Strong extensions for $q$-summing operators acting in $p$-convex Banach function spaces for $1 \le p \le q$

Let $1\le p\le q<\infty$ and let $X$ be a $p$-convex Banach function space over a $σ$-finite measure $μ$. We combine the structure of the spaces $L^p(μ)$ and $L^q(ξ)$ for constructing the new space $S_{X_p}^{\,q}(ξ)$, where $ξ$ is a probability Radon measure on a certain compact set associated to $X$. We show some of its properties, and the relevant fact that every $q$-summing operator $T$ defined on $X$ can be continuously (strongly) extended to $S_{X_p}^{\,q}(ξ)$. We consider a normalized basis in a Banach space with the following property: any normalized block sequence of the basis has a subsequence equivalent to the basis. We show that under uniformity or other natural assumptions, a basis with this property is equivalent to the unit vector basis of $c_0$ or $\ell_p$. We also address an analogous problem for spreading models.

Tameness and Rosenthal type locally convex spaces

Motivated by Rosenthal's famous $l^1$-dichotomy in Banach spaces, Haydon's theorem, and additionally by recent works on tame dynamical systems, we introduce the class of tame locally convex spaces.
