We introduce the notion of standard multipartitions and establish a one-to-one correspondence between standard multipartitions and irreducible representations with integral weights for the affine Hecke algebra of type A with a parameter q which is not a root of unity. We then extend the correspondence to all Kleshchev multipartitions for Ariki-Koike algebras of integral type. Specht modules for an Ariki-Koike algebra have been investigated recently in the context of cellular algebras. Thus, these modules are defined as quotient modules of certain ``permutation'' modules, that is, defined as ``cell modules'' via cellular bases. We shall introduce in this paper Specht modules for an Ariki-Koike algebra as submodules of those ``permutation'' modules and investigate their basic properties such as Standard Basis Theorem and the ordinary Branching Theorem, generalizing several classical constructions for type $A$. Motivated by Brundan-Kleshchev's work on higher Schur-Weyl duality, we establish mixed Schur-Weyl duality between general linear Lie algebras and cyclotomic walled Brauer algebras in an arbitrary level. Using weakly cellular bases of cyclotomic walled Brauer algebras, we classify highest weight vectors of certain mixed tensor modules of general linear Lie algebras. This leads to an efficient way to compute decomposition matrices of cyclotomic walled Brauer algebras arising from mixed Schur-Weyl duality, which generalizes early results on level two walled Brauer algebras.
Recently Brundan, Kleshchev and Wang introduced a $\Z$-grading on the Specht modules of the degenerate and non-degenerate cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type $G(\ell,1,n)$. In this paper we show that induced Specht modules have an explicit filtration by shifts of graded Specht modules. This proves a conjecture of Brundan, Kleshchev and Wang.
Gordon James proved that the socle of a Weyl module of a classical Schur algebra is a sum of simple modules labelled by $p$-restricted partitions. We prove an analogue of this result in the very general setting of "Schur pairs". As an application we show that the socle of a Weyl module of a cyclotomic $q$-Schur algebra is a sum of simple modules labelled by Kleshchev multipartitions and we use this result to prove a conjecture of Fayers that leads to an efficient LLT algorithm for the higher level cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type $A$. We give a concrete construction of a graded cellular basis for the generalized blob algebra B_n introduced by Martin and Woodcock. The construction uses the isomorphism between KLR-algebras and cyclotomic Hecke algebras, proved by Brundan-Kleshchev and Rouquier. It gives rise to a family of Jucys-Murphy elements for B_n.

Brundan and Kleshchev showed that some parts of the representation theory of the affine Hecke-Clifford superalgebras and its finite-dimensional "cyclotomic" quotients are controlled by the Lie theory of type $A^{(2)}_{2l}$ when the quantum parameter $q$ is a primitive $(2l+1)$-th root of unity. In this paper, we define a number of closely related isomorphisms. On one side of these isomorphisms sit a number of of algebras generalizing the Hecke and affine Hecke algebras, which we call the "Hecke family"; on the other, we find generalizations of KLR algebras in finite and affine type A, the "KLR family." In this paper, which is a follow-up to my paper with Yonezawa "sl(N)-web categories", I define and study sl(N)-web algebras for any N greater than one. We give an explicit graded cellular basis of the $\mathfrak{sl}_3$-web algebra $K_S$. In order to do this, we identify Kuperberg's basis for the $\mathfrak{sl}_3$-web space $W_S$ with a version of Leclerc-Toffin's intermediate crystal basis and we identify Brundan, Kleshchev and Wang's degree of tableaux with the weight of flows on webs and the $q$-degree of foams. We use these observations to give a "foamy" version of Hu and Mathas graded cellular basis of the cyclotomic Hecke algebra which turns out to be a graded cellular basis of the $\mathfrak{sl}_3$-web algebra.
