We pay two debts from [Sh:576] (math.LO/9805146). The main demands little knowledge from [Sh:576], just quoting a model theoretic consequence of the weak diamond. We assume that K has amalgamation in lambda, and that the minimal types are not dense to get many non-isomorphic models in lambda^+. For this also pcf considerations are relevant. The minor debt was the use in one point of [Sh:576] of lambda not= aleph_0, it is minor as for this case by [Sh:88] we ``usually'' know more.

Minimal types in super-dependent theories

We give necessary and sufficient geometric conditions for a theory definable in an o-minimal structure to interpret a real closed field. The proof goes through an analysis of thorn-minimal types in super-rosy dependent theories of finite rank. We prove that such theories are coordinatised by thorn-minimal types and that such a type is unstable if an only if every non-algebraic extension thereof is. We conclude that a type is stable if and only if it admits a coordinatisation in thorn-minimal stable types. We also show that non-trivial thorn-minimal stable types extend stable sets.

On forking and definability of types in some dp-minimal theories

We prove in particular that, in a large class of dp-minimal theories including the p-adics, definable types are dense amongst non-forking types.

Minimal types in stable Banach spaces

We prove existence of wide types in a continuous theory expanding a Banach space, and density of minimal wide types among stable types in such a theory. We show that every minimal wide stable type is "generically" isometric to an l_2 space. We conclude with a proof of the following formulation of Henson's Conjecture: every model of an uncountably categorical theory expanding a Banach space is prime over a spreading model, isometric to the standard basis of a Hilbert space.

We study the definable topological dynamics $(G(M), S_G(M))$ of a definable group acting on its type space, where $M$ is either an $o$-minimal structure or a $p$-adically closed field, and $G$ a definable amenable group. On the homotopy type of definable groups in an o-minimal structure

Given a definably compact group G in a saturated o-minimal structure, there is a canonical homomorphism from G to a compact real Lie group F(G). We establish a similar result for the (o-mininimal) universal cover of a definably compact group. We also show that F(G) determines the definable homotopy type of G. A crucial step is to show that the fundamental group of an open subset of F(G) is isomorphic to the definable fundamental group of its preimage in G. Our results depend on the study of the o-minimal fundamental groupoid of G.

Dp-minimality: invariant types and dp-rank

This paper has two parts. In the first one, we prove that an invariant dp-minimal type is either finitely satisfiable or definable. We also prove that a definable version of the (p,q)-theorem holds in dp-minimal theories of small or medium directionality. Prikry-type forcing and minimal $α$-degree

Indiscernible Subspaces and Minimal Wide Types

We develop the machinery of indiscernible subspaces in continuous theories of expansions of Banach spaces, showing that any such theory has an indiscernible subspace and therefore an indiscernible set. On minimal flows. definably amenable groups, and o-minimality

We study definably amenable groups in NIP theories, and answer a question of Newelski (and also of Chernikov-Simon), by giving an example in the o-minimal context where weak generic types do not coincide with almost periodic types, equivalently where the union of the minimal subflows of suitable type spaces is not closed. We give other positive results in this o-minimal context.
