A group theoretical understanding of the two dimensional fractional supersymmetry is given in terms of the quantum Poincare group at roots of unity. The fractional supersymmetry algebra and the quantum group dual to it are presented and the pseudo-unitary, irreducible representations of them are obtained. The matrix elements of these representations are explicitly constructed.

Analysis on the 2-Dim Quantum Poincare` Group at Roots of Unity

2-Dim quantum Poincare` Group E_q(1,1) at roots of unity, its dual U_q(e(1,1)) and some of its homogeneous spaces are introduced. A braided interpretation of fractional supersymmetry in higher dimensions

A many variable $q$-calculus is introduced using the formalism of braided covector algebras. Its properties when certain of its deformation parameters are roots of unity are discussed in detail, and related to fractional supersymmetry. The special cases of two dimensional supersymmetry and fractional supersymmetry are developed in detail.

Geometrical foundations of fractional supersymmetry

A deformed $q$-calculus is developed on the basis of an algebraic structure involving graded brackets. A number operator and left and right shift operators are constructed for this algebra, and the whole structure is related to the algebra of a $q$-deformed boson. Non-Abelian Fractional Supersymmetry in Two Dimensions

Non-Abelian fractional supersymmetry algebra in two dimensions is introduced utilizing $U_q(sl(2,\Rcc))$ at roots of unity. Its representations and the matrix elements are obtained. The dual of it is constructed and the corepresentations are studied. Moreover, a differential realization of the non-Abelian fractional supersymmetry generators is given in the generalized superspace defined by two commuting and two generalized Grassmann variables. An invariant action under the fractional supersymmetry transformations is given.

The $q$-calculus for generic $q$ and $q$ a root of unity

The $q$-calculus for generic $q$ is developed and related to the deformed oscillator of parameter $q^{1/2}$. By passing with care to the limit in which $q$ is a root of unity, one uncovers the full algebraic structure of ${\cal Z}_n$-graded fractional supersymmetry and its natural representation.

Highest weight representations of $U_q(su(1,1))$ with $q=\exp πi/N$ are investigated. The structures of the irreducible hieghesat weight modules are discussed in detail. The Clebsch-Gordan decomposition for the tensor product of two irreducible representations is discussed. The quantum superalgebra $U_q[osp(1/2n)]$: deformed para-Bose operators and root of unity representations

We recall the relation between the Lie superalgebra $osp(1/2n)$ and para-Bose operators. The quantum superalgebra $U_q[osp(1/2n)]$, defined as usual in terms of its Chevalley generators, is shown to be isomorphic to an associative algebra generated by so-called pre-oscillator operators satisfying a number of relations. From these relations, and the analogue with the non-deformed case, one can interpret these pre-oscillator operators as deformed para-Bose operators.
