Let $\mathcal{L}^{S}\left(s,π,χ,\operatorname{\mathfrak{st}}\right)$ be a standard twisted partial $\mathcal{L}$-function of degree $7$ of the cuspidal automorphic representation $π$ of the exceptional group of type $G_2$. Let $Γ$ be a principal congruence subgroup of $SL_n(Z)$ and let $σ$ be an irreducible representation of SO(n). Let $N(T,σ)$ be the counting function of the eigenvalues of the Casimir operator acting in the space of cusp forms for $Γ$ which transform under SO(n) according to $σ$. We prove that the counting function $N(T,σ)$ satisfies Weyl's law as $T\to\infty$. Especially this implies that there exist infinitely many cusp forms for the full modular group $SL_n(Z)$.
For an arbitrary quiver Q and dimension vector d we prove that the dimension of the space of cuspidal functions on the moduli stack of representations of Q of dimension d over a finite field F_q is given by a polynomial in q with rational coefficients. We define a variant of this polynomial counting absolutely cuspidal functions, prove that it has integral coefficients and conjecture that it has positive coefficients. In this paper, we prove the entirety of loop group Eisenstein series induced from cusp forms on the underlying finite dimensional group, by demonstrating their absolute convergence on the full complex plane. This is quite in contrast to the finite-dimensional setting, where such series only converge absolutely in a right half plane (and have poles elsewhere coming from $L$-functions in their constant terms). Our result is the $\Q$-analog of a theorem of A. Braverman and D. Kazhdan from the function field setting, who previously showed the analogous Eisenstein series are finite sums.

We follow Jacquet-Shalika, Matringe and Cogdell-Matringe to define exterior square gamma factors for irreducible cuspidal representations of $\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{F}_q)$. These exterior square gamma factors are expressed in terms of Bessel functions, or in terms of the regular characters associated with the cuspidal representations. We also relate our exterior square gamma factors over finite fields to those over local fields through level zero representations.
