Fractional Differentiation Operator over an Infinite Extension of a Local Field

We study a fractional differentiation operator for functions on the conjugate space to an infinite extension of a local field of zero characteristic which is a union of an increasing sequence of finite extensions. In particular, a representation in the form of a hypersingular integral operator is obtained. It is also shown that the corresponding diffusion measure is not absolutely continuous with respect to the Gaussian measure.

Spectral properties of fractional differentiation operators

We consider fractional differentiation operators in various senses and show that the strictly accretive property is the common property of fractional differentiation operators. Also we prove that the sectorial property holds for differential operators second order with a fractional derivative in the final term, we explore a location of the spectrum and resolvent sets and show that the spectrum is discrete. We prove that there exists a two-sided estimate for eigenvalues of the real component of operators second order with the fractional derivative in the final term.

$L^p$ properties of non-Archimedean fractional differentiation operators

Let $D^α, α>0$, be the Vladimirov-Taibleson fractional differentiation operator acting on complex-valued functions on a non-Archimedean local field. The identity $D^αD^{-α}f=f$ was known only for the case where $f$ has a compact support. Following a result by Samko about the fractional Laplacian of real analysis, we extend the above identity in terms of $L^p$-convergence of truncated integrals. Differences between real and non-Archimedean cases are discussed.

Some remarks on stable densities and operators of fractional differentiation

Let $D(s)$ be a fractional derivation of order $s$. For a real $p\ne 0$, we construct an integral operator $A(p)$ in an appropriate functional space such that $A(p) D(s) A(p)^{-1}=D(p s)$ for all $s$. The kernel of the operator $A(p)$ is expressed in terms of a function similar to the stable densities.

In this paper we proved a theorems of existence and uniqueness of solutions of differential equation of second order with fractional derivative in the Kipriyanov sense in lower terms. Composition-differentiation operators on $S^2(\mathbb{D})$

We investigate composition-differentiation operators acting on the space $S^2$, the space of analytic functions on the open unit disk whose first derivative is in $H^2$. Beyond local maximal operators

We obtain (essentially sharp) boundedness results for certain generalized local maximal operators between fractional weighted Sobolev spaces and their modifications. Concrete boundedness results between well known fractional Sobolev spaces are derived as consequences of our main result. We also apply our boundedness results by studying both generalized neighbourhood capacities and the Lebesgue differentiation of fractional weighted Sobolev functions.

The differentiation operator on discrete function spaces of a tree

In this paper, we study the differentiation operator acting on discrete function spaces; that is spaces of functions defined on an infinite rooted tree. We discuss, through its connection with composition operators, the boundedness and compactness of this operator. In addition, we discuss the operator norm and spectrum, and consider when such an operator can be an isometry. We then apply these results to the operator acting on the discrete Lipschitz space and weighted Banach spaces, as well as the Hardy spaces defined on homogeneous trees.

Asymptotics of Eigenvalues for Differential Operators of Fractional Order

In this paper we deal with a second order multidimensional fractional differential operator. We consider a case where the leading term represented by the uniformly elliptic operator and the final term is the Kipriyanov operator of fractional differentiation. We conduct classification of such a type of operators by belonging of their resolvent to the Schatten-von Neumann class and formulate the sufficient condition for completeness of the root functions system. Finally we obtain an asymptotic formula.

On the set of hypercyclic vectors for the differentiation operator

Let $D$ be the differentiation operator $Df=f'$ acting on the Fréchet space $\H$ of all entire functions in one variable with the standard (compact-open) topology. It is known since 1950's that the set $H(D)$ of hypercyclic vectors for the operator $D$ is non-empty. We treat two questions raised by Aron, Conejero, Peris and Seoane-Sepúlveda whether the set $H(D)$ contains (up to the zero function) a non-trivial subalgebra of $\H$ or an infinite dimensional closed linear subspace of $\H$. In the present article both questions are answered affirmatively.

Monotone iterative schemes for positive solutions of a fractional differential system with integral boundary conditions on an infinite interval

In this paper, using the monotone iterative technique and the Banach contraction mapping principle, we study a class of fractional differential system with integral boundary on an infinite interval. Feller Semigroups Obtained by Variable Order Subordination

For certain classes of negative definite symbols $q(x,ξ)$ and state space dependent Bernstein function $f(x,s)$ we prove that $-p(x,D)$, the pseudo-differential operator with symbol $-p(x,ξ)=-f(x,q(x,ξ))$, extends to the generator of a Feller semigroup. Our result extends previously known results related to operators of variable (fractional) order of differentiation, or variable order fractional powers. New concrete examples are given.
