Fixed point theorem for an infinite Toeplitz matrix and its extension to general infinite matrices

It was found the conditions for existence of a positive solution and bounded positive solution. However, the proof of the existence of a positive solution was entirely straightforward, not admitting extensions for more general types of matrices. Extension of Bernstein Polynomials to Infinite Dimensional Case

The purpose of this paper is to study some new concrete approximation processes for continuous vector-valued mappings defined on the infinite dimensional cube or on a subset of a real Hilbert space. In both cases these operators are modelled on classical Bernstein polynomials and represent a possible extension to an infinite dimensional setting. The same idea is generalized to obtain from a given approximation process for function defined on a real interval a new approximation process for vector-valued mappings defined on subsets of a real Hilbert space.

On a Space of Infinitely Differentiable Functions on an Unbounded Convex Set in ${\mathbb R}^n$ Admitting Holomorphic Extension in ${\mathbb C}^n$ and its Dual

We consider a space of infinitely smooth functions on an unbounded closed convex set in ${\mathbb R}^n$. It is shown that each function of this space can be extended to an entire function in ${\mathbb C}^n$ satisfying some prescribed growth condition. Description of linear continuous functionals on this space in terms of their Fourier-Laplace transform is obtained. Also a variant of the Paley-Wiener-Schwartz theorem for tempered distributions is given it the paper.

Self-adjoint and Markovian extensions of infinite quantum graphs

We investigate the relationship between one of the classical notions of boundaries for infinite graphs, \emph{graph ends}, and self-adjoint extensions of the minimal Kirchhoff Laplacian on a metric graph. We introduce the notion of \emph{finite volume} for ends of a metric graph and show that finite volume graph ends is the proper notion of a boundary for Markovian extensions of the Kirchhoff Laplacian. Maximal accretive extensions of Schrödinger operators on vector bundles over infinite graphs

Given a Hermitian vector bundle over an infinite weighted graph, we define the Laplacian associated to a unitary connection on this bundle and study the essential self-adjointness of a perturbation of this Laplacian by an operator-valued potential. Additionally, we give a sufficient condition for the resulting Schrödinger operator to serve as the generator of a strongly continuous contraction semigroup in the corresponding l^{p}-space.
