Some applications of the Kohn-Rossi extension theorems

We prove extension results for meromorphic functions by combining the Kohn-Rossi extension theorems with Andreotti's theory on the algebraic and analytic dependence of meromorphic functions on pseudoconcave manifolds. Versions of Kohn-Rossi theorems for pseudoconvex domains are included.

Spectrum of the Kohn Laplacian on the Rossi sphere

We study the spectrum of the Kohn Laplacian $\square_b^t$ on the Rossi example $(\mathbb{S}^3, \mathcal{L}_t)$. In particular we show that $0$ is in the essential spectrum of $\square_b^t$, which yields another proof of the global non-embeddability of the Rossi example.

Morse inequalities for Fourier components of Kohn-Rossi cohomology of CR covering manifolds with $S^1$-action

Let $X$ be a compact connected CR manifold of dimension $2n+1, n \geq 1$. Let $\widetilde{X}$ be a paracompact CR manifold with a transversal CR $S^1$-action, such that there is a discrete group $Γ$ acting freely on $\widetilde{X}$ having $X \, = \, \widetilde{X}/Γ$. Based on an asymptotic formula for the Fourier components of the heat kernel with respect to the $S^1$-action, we establish the Morse inequalities for Fourier components of reduced $L^2$-Kohn-Rossi cohomology with values in a rigid CR vector bundle over $\widetilde{X}$. Morse inequalities for Fourier components of Kohn-Rossi cohomology of CR manifolds with $S^1$-action

Let $X$ be a compact connected CR manifold of dimension $2n-1, n\geq 2$ with a transversal CR $S^1$-action on $X$. We study the Fourier components of the Kohn-Rossi cohomology with respect to the $S^1$-action. By studying the Szegö kernel of the Fourier components we establish the Morse inequalities on $X$. Using the Morse inequalities we have established on $X$ we prove that there are abundant CR functions on $X$ when $X$ is weakly pseudoconvex and strongly pseudoconvex at a point.

A mixed Hodge structure on a CR manifold

The purpose of this work is to propose a mixed Hodge structure over a CR manifold. As you know, for a CR manifold, Kohn-Rossi cohomology is naturally introduced. However, the relation between Kohn-Rossi cohomology and De Rham cohomology is not so well understood, even in Tanaka's work. We discuss this point.

Propagation of regularity for solutions of the Kohn Laplacian in a flat boundary

$L^2$ Extension of $\bar\partial$-closed forms from a hypersurface

We establish $L^2$ extension theorems for $\bar \partial$-closed $(0,q)$-forms with values in a holomorphic line bundle with smooth Hermitian metric, from a smooth hypersurface on a Stein manifold. Our result extends (and gives a new, perhaps more classical, proof of) a theorem of Berndtsson on compact Kähler manifolds, which itself is a sharpening of the theorem of Koziarz. Regularity at the Boundary and Tangential Regularity

For a pseudoconvex domain in complex space, we prove the equivalence of the local hypoellipticity of the system (di-bar, di-bar*) with the system (di-bar_b,di-bar*_b) induced in the boundary. This develops a result of ours which used the theory of the "harmonic" extension by Kohn. This technique is inadequate for the purpose of the present paper and must be replaced by the "holomorphic" extension introduced by the authors in former work.

On extending $L^{2}$ holomorphic functions from complex hyperplanes

The key to the proof of the Ohsawa-Takegoshi Extension Theorem is a certain $\bar{\partial}$-estimate. The purpose of this note is to show that the 'curvature term' that arises in the Kohn-Morrey-Hörmander inequality (or the Bochner-Kodaira technique) is sufficient to produce such an estimate. We exploit self boundedness of the gradients of the weight functions to change the weight with respect to which the adjoint is taken. The weights, on the other hand, are the usual ones used in this context.
