On local coefficients for non-generic representations of some classical groups

This paper is concerned with representations of split orthogonal and quasi-split unitary groups over a nonarchimedean local field which are not generic, but which support a unique model of a different kind, the generalized Bessel model. The properties of the Bessel models under induction are studied, and an analogue of Rodier's theorem concerning the induction of Whittaker models is proved for Bessel models which are minimal in a suitable sense. The holomorphicity in the induction parameter of the Bessel functional is established. Last, local coefficients are defined for each irreducible supercuspidal representation which carries a Bessel functional and also for a certain component of each representation parabolically induced from such a supercuspidal.

Quantization of branching coefficients for classical Lie groups

We study natural quantizations of branching coefficients corresponding to the restrictions of the classical Lie groups to their Levi subgroups. We show that they admit a stable limit which can be regarded as a $q$-analogue of a tensor product multiplicity. According to a conjecture by Shimozono, the stable one-dimensional sum for nonexceptional affine crystals are expected to occur as special cases of these $q$-analogues.

Modular generalized Springer correspondence II: classical groups

We construct a modular generalized Springer correspondence for any classical group, by generalizing to the modular setting various results of Lusztig in the case of characteristic-$0$ coefficients. We determine the cuspidal pairs in all classical types, and compute the correspondence explicitly for $\mathrm{SL}(n)$ with coefficients of arbitrary characteristic and for $\mathrm{SO}(n)$ and $\mathrm{Sp}(2n)$ with characteristic-$2$ coefficients.

Fourier coefficients for automorphic forms on quasisplit classical groups

In [J14], a conjecture was proposed on a relation between the global Arthur parameters and the structure of Fourier coefficients of the automorphic representations in the corresponding global Arthur packets. In this paper, we discuss the recent progress on this conjecture and certain problems which lead to better understanding of Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms. At the end, we extend a useful technical lemma to a few versions, which are more convenient for future applications.

Parabolic Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials, plethysm and gereralized Hall-Littlewood functions for classical types

We use power sums plethysm operators to introduce H functions which interpolate between the Weyl characters and the Hall-Littlewood functions Q' corresponding to classical Lie groups. The coefficients of these functions on the basis of Weyl characters are parabolic Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials and thus, are nonnegative. We prove that they can be regarded as quantizations of branching coefficients obtained by restriction to certain Levi subgroups. The H functions associated to linear groups coincide with the polynomials introduced by Lascoux Leclerc and Thibon (LLT polynomials).

Stabilized plethysms for the classical Lie groups

The plethysms of the Weyl characters associated to a classical Lie group by the symmetric functions stabilize in large rank. In the case of a power sum plethysm, we prove that the coefficients of the decomposition of this stabilized form on the basis of Weyl characters are branching coefficients which can be determined by a simple algorithm. This generalizes in particular some classical results by Littlewood on the power sum plethysms of Schur functions. Continuous group cohomology with coefficients in locally analytic vectors of admissible $ \mathbb{Q}_p $-Banach space representations

We show that the continuous cohomology groups of a $ p $-adic reductive group with coefficients in the locally analytic vectors of an admissible $ \mathbb{Q}_p $-Banach space representation are homeomorphic to those with coefficients in the Banach space representation itself. Moreover, we deduce that the canonical topologies on those continuous cohomology groups are Hausdorff and are the uniquely determined finest locally convex topologies.

Local coefficients and gamma factors for principal series of covering groups

We consider an $n$-fold Brylinski-Deligne cover of a reductive group over a $p$-adic field. We study Whittaker--Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms on a quasi-split unitary group. We reduce the analogue of the Ichino--Ikeda conjectures to a conjectural local statement using the descent method of Ginzburg--Rallis--Soudry.

Cycles with local coefficients for orthogonal groups and vector-valued Siegel modular forms

The theta correspondence has been an important tool in studying cycles in locally symmetric spaces of orthogonal type. We generalize the Kudla-Millson relation between intersection numbers of cycles and Fourier coefficients of Siegel modular forms to the case where the cycles have local coefficients. Now the generating series of the cycles give rise to vector-valued Siegel modular forms. The underlying correspondence between the highest weights of the orthogonal and the symplectic group coincides with the one obtained by Adams for which we provide a geometric interpretation.

On the support of matrix coefficients of supercuspidal representations of the general linear group over a local non-archimedean field

We derive an upper bound on the support of matrix coefficients of suprecuspidal representations of the general linear group over a non-archimedean local field. The results are in par with those which can be obtained from the Bushnell--Kutzko classification of supercuspidal representations, but they are proved independently.

On some properties of SU(3) Fusion Coefficients

Three aspects of the SU(3) fusion coefficients are revisited: the generating polynomials of fusion coefficients are written explicitly; some curious identities generalizing the classical Freudenthal-de Vries formula are derived; and the properties of the fusion coefficients under conjugation of one of the factors, previously analysed in the classical case, are extended to the affine algebra of su(3) at finite level.
