An FBI characterization for Gevrey vectors on hypo-analytic structures and propagation of Gevrey singularities

In this work we prove an FBI characterization for Gevrey vectors on hypo-analytic structures, and we analyze the main differences of Gevrey regularity and hypo-analyticity concerning the FBI transform. We end with an application of this characterization on a propagation of Gevrey singularities result, for solutions of the non-homogeneous system associated with the hypo-analytic structure, for analytic structures of tube type.

Asymptotic properties of Bergman kernels for potentials with Gevrey regularity

We study the asymptotic properties of the Bergman kernels associated to tensor powers of a positive line bundle on a compact Kähler manifold. We show that if the Kähler potential is in Gevrey class $G^a$ for some $a>1$, then the Bergman kernel accepts a complete asymptotic expansion in a neighborhood of the diagonal of shrinking size $k^{-\frac12+\frac{1}{4a+4\varepsilon}}$ for every $\varepsilon>0$. These improve the earlier results in the subject for smooth potentials, where an expansion exists in a $(\frac{\log k}{k})^{\frac12}$ neighborhood of the diagonal. We obtain our results by finding…

Propagation of regularity for solutions of the Kohn Laplacian in a flat boundary

We prove that CR lines in an exponentially degenerate boundary are propagators of holomorphic extension. This explains, in the context of the CR geometry, why in this situation the induced Kohn-Laplacian $\Box_b$ is not hypoelliptic according to recent work by Christ.

Regularity at the Boundary and Tangential Regularity

For a pseudoconvex domain in complex space, we prove the equivalence of the local hypoellipticity of the system (di-bar, di-bar*) with the system (di-bar_b,di-bar*_b) induced in the boundary. This develops a result of ours which used the theory of the "harmonic" extension by Kohn. This technique is inadequate for the purpose of the present paper and must be replaced by the "holomorphic" extension introduced by the authors in former work.

Global Analytic Hypoellipticity for a Class of Quasilinear Sums of Squares of Vector Fields

A global real analytic regularity theorem for a quasilinear sum of squares of vector fields of Hormander rank 2 is given. A related local result for a special case was proved recently by the second author and L. Zanghirati in a paper titled "Local Real Analyticity of Solutions for sums of squares of non-linear vector fields".
