Gauss hypergeometric function and quadratic R-matrix algebras

We consider representations of quadratic $R$-matrix algebras by means of certain first order ordinary differential operators. These operators turn out to act as parameter shifting operators on the Gauss hypergeometric function and its limit cases and on classical orthogonal polynomials. The relationship with W. Miller's treatment of Lie algebras of first order differential operators will be discussed.

We construct a class of representations of the quadratic $R$-matrix algebra given by the reflection equation with the spectral parameter, $$ R{\,}(u-v)\,T^{(1)}(u)\,R{\,}(u+v)\,T^{(2)}(v)= T^{(2)}(v)\,R{\,}(u+v)\,T^{(1)}(u)\,R{\,}(u-v), $$ in terms of certain ordinary difference operators. The relationship with the factorisation method will be discussed.

Representation of the Gauss hypergeometric function by multiple polylogarithms and relations of multiple zeta values

We describe a solution of the Gauss hypergeometric equation, $F(α,β,γ;z)$ by power series in paramaters $α,β,γ$ whose coefficients are $\Z$ linear combinations of multiple polylogarithms. And using the representation and connection reletions of solutions of the hypergeometric equation, we show some relations of multiple zeta values.

Representation of solutions of the Gauss hypergeometric equation by the multiple polylogarithms, functional relations of the multiple polylogarithms and relations of the multiple zeta values

In this article, we express solutions of the Gauss hypergeometric equation as a series of the multiple polylogarithms by using iterated integral. This representation is the most simple case of a semisimple representation of solutions of the formal KZ equation. Moreover, combining this representation with the connection relations of solutions of the Gauss hypergeometric equation, we obtain various relations of the multiple polylogarithms of one variable and the multiple zeta values.

Continuous biorthogonality of the elliptic hypergeometric function

We construct a family of continuous biorthogonal functions related to an elliptic analogue of the Gauss hypergeometric function. The key tools used for that are the elliptic beta integral and the integral Bailey chain introduced earlier by the author. Relations to the Sklyanin algebra and elliptic analogues of the Faddeev modular double are discussed in detail.

Solutions modulo $p$ of Gauss-Manin differential equations for multidimensional hypergeometric integrals and associated Bethe ansatz

We consider the Gauss-Manin differential equations for hypergeometric integrals associated with a family of weighted arrangements of hyperplanes moving parallelly to themselves. We reduce these equations modulo a prime integer $p$ and construct polynomial solutions of the new differential equations as $p$-analogs of the initial hypergeometric integrals. On Warnaar's elliptic matrix inversion and Karlsson-Minton-type elliptic hypergeometric series

Using Krattenthaler's operator method, we give a new proof of Warnaar's recent elliptic extension of Krattenthaler's matrix inversion. Further, using a theta function identity closely related to Warnaar's inversion, we derive summation and transformation formulas for elliptic hypergeometric series of Karlsson-Minton-type. A special case yields a particular summation that was used by Warnaar to derive quadratic, cubic and quartic transformations for elliptic hypergeometric series.
