Using classical transformations on the symmetric group and two transformations constructed in Fix-Mahonian Calculus I, we show that several multivariable statistics are equidistributed either with the triplet (fix,des,maj), or the pair (fix,maj), where "fix," "des" and "maj" denote the number of fixed points, the number of descents and the major index, respectively.

Fix-Mahonian Calculus III; a Quadruple Distribution

A four-variable distribution on permutations is derived, with two dual combinatorial interpretations. The first one includes the number of fixed points "fix", the second the so-called "pix" statistic. This shows that the duality between derangements and desarrangements can be extended to the case of multivariable statistics. Several specializations are obtained, including the joint distribution of (des, exc), where "des" and "exc" stand for the number of descents and excedances, respectively.

Diagonalization of Fix-Mahonian Matrices

Consider the regular representation of the sum over all permutations weighted by the sum of their descent, inversion, and fixed point multinomials. We compute the spectrum and the multiplicities of its elements of that matrix. Note that those multinomial statistics allow to apply the result on several permutation statistics like the number of fixed points, of descents, of inversions, and the major index at the same time.

On the distribution of some Euler-Mahonian statistics

We give a direct combinatorial proof of the equidistribution of two pairs of permutation statistics, (des, aid) and (lec, inv), which have been previously shown to have the same joint distribution as (exc, maj), the major index and the number of excedances of a permutation. Moreover, the triple (pix, lec, inv) was shown to have the same distribution as (fix, exc, maj), where fix is the number of fixed points of a permutation. Fix-Euler-Mahonian statistics on wreath products

In 1997 Clarke et al. studied a $q$-analogue of Euler's difference table for $n!$ using a key bijection $Ψ$ on symmetric groups. In this paper we extend their results to the wreath product of a cyclic group with the symmetric group. In particular we obtain a new mahonian statistic \emph{fmaf} on wreath products. We also show that Foata and Han's two recent transformations on the symmetric groups provide indeed a factorization of $Ψ$.
