We extend the notion of amoeba to holomorphic almost periodic functions in tube domains. In this setting, the order of a function in a connected component of the complement to its amoeba is just the mean motion of this function.
We also find a correlation between the orders in different components.
We give an alternative representation of the closure of the Bochner transform of a holomorphic almost periodic mapping in a tube domain. For such mappings we introduce a new notion of amoeba and we show that, for mappings which are regular in the sense of Ronkin, this new notion agrees with Favorov's one. We prove that the amoeba complement of a regular holomorphic almost periodic mapping, defined on Cn and taking its values in Cm+1, is a Henriques m-convex subset of Rn. Finally, we compare some different notions of regularity.
It is shown that tube sets over amoebas of algebraic varieties (and, more generally, of almost periodic holomorphic chains) of dimension q are q-pseudoconcave in the sense of Rothstein. This is a direct consequence of a representation of such sets as supports of positive closed currents.
We prove that to each almost periodic (in the sense of distributions) divisor in a tube one can assign a first Chern class of a special line bundle over Bohr's compact set generated by the divisor such that the trivial cohomology class represents divisors of all almost periodic holomorphic functions on a tube. This description yields various geometric conditions for an almost periodic divisor to be the divisor of a holomorphic almost periodic function. We also give a complete description for the divisors of homogeneous coordinates for holomorphic almost periodic curves; in particular, we obtai…
We construct a family of integral kernels for solving the \bar\partial equation with C^k and Holder estimates in thin tubes around totally real submanifolds in complex Eulidean spaces (theorems 1.1 and 3.1). Combining this with the proof of a theorem of Serre we solve the d-equation with estimates for holomorphic forms in such tubes (theorem 5.1). We apply these techniques and a method of Moser to approximate C^k-diffeomorphisms between totally real submanifolds in C^n in the C^k-topology by biholomorphic mappings in tubes, by unimodular and symplectic biholomorphic mappings, and by holomorphi…
A notion of almost periodic current is introduced, as well as a notion of almost periodic holomorphic chain proceeded from that definition. Such a chain can be defined either as a special case of almost periodic currents or as a holomorphic chain whose trace measure is an almost periodic distribution. It is shown that in general situation almost periodicity of the trace of a current does not imply that for the current itself, even if it is closed and positive. The zero set (regarded as a holomorphic chain) of a holomorphic mapping can be represented as a Monge-Ampere type current, and one coul…
Herein, the Laplace transform representations for functions of weighted holomorphic Bergman spaces on the tube domains are developed. Then a weighted version of the edge-of-the-wedge theorem is derived as a byproduct of the main results.
We study the complete Kahler-Einstein metric in tube domains. We obtain estimates of this metric and its holomorphic bisectional curvatures near the weakly pseudoconvex boundary points.
H.Bohr in 1930 proved that if a holomorphic bounded function on a strip is almost periodic on a straight line in the strip, then it is almost periodic on the whole strip. We find some conditions when the result is valid for holomorphic mappings of tube domains to various complex manifolds.
In an earlier article the second author introduced three families of tube domains in ${\mathbf C}^2$ with holomorphic automorphism group isomorphic to ${\mathbf R}\ltimes{\mathbf R}^2$ and envelope of holomorphy equal to ${\mathbf C}^2$. In the present paper we show that every domain in each of these families is Kobayashi-hyperbolic.
We describe all complex geodesics in convex tube domains. In the case when the base of a convex tube domain does not contain any real line, the obtained description involves the notion of boundary measure of a holomorphic map and it is expressed in the language of real Borel measures on the unit circle. Applying our result, we calculate all complex geodesics in convex tube domains with unbounded base covering special class of Reinhardt domains.

Let $\,G/K\,$ be a non-compact irreducible Hermitian symmetric space of rank $\,r\,$ and let $\,NAK\,$ be an Iwasawa decomposition of $\,G$. By the polydisc theorem, $\,AK/K\,$ can be regarded as the base of an $\,r$-dimensional tube domain holomorphically embedded in $\,G/K$. As every $\,N$-orbit in $\,G/K\,$ intersects $\,AK/K$ in a single point, there is a one-to-one correspondence between $\,N$-invariant domains in $\,G/K\,$ and tube domains in the product of $\,r\,$ copies of the upper half-plane in $\,\C$. In this setting we prove a generalization of Bochner's tube theorem. Namely, an $\…
We establish basic results of complex function theory within certain algebras of holomorphic functions on coverings of Stein manifolds (such as algebras of Bohr's holomorphic almost periodic functions on tube domains or algebras of all fibrewise bounded holomorphic functions arising, e.g., in the corona problem for $H^\infty$). In particular, in this context we obtain results on holomorphic extension from complex submanifolds, properties of divisors, corona type theorems, holomorphic analogues of the Peter-Weyl approximation theorem, Hartogs type theorems, characterizations of uniqueness sets,…
We develop complex function theory within certain algebras of holomorphic functions on coverings of Stein manifolds. This, in particular, includes the results on holomorphic extension from complex submanifolds, corona type theorems, properties of divisors, holomorphic analogs of the Peter-Weyl approximation theorem, Hartogs type theorems, characterization of uniqueness sets. The model examples of these algebras are: (1) Bohr's algebra of holomorphic almost periodic functions on tube domains; (2) algebra of all fibrewise bounded holomorphic functions (e.g., arising in the corona problem for $H^…
We classify the tube domains in C^4 with affinely homogeneous base whose boundary contains a non-degenerate affinely homogeneous hypersurface. It follows that these domains are holomorphically homogeneous and amongst them there are four new examples of unbounded homogeneous domains (that do not have bounded realisations). These domains lie to either side of a pair of Levi-indefinite hypersurface. Using the geometry of these two hypersurfaces, we find the automorphism groups of the domains.
We study holomorphic almost periodic functions on a tube domain with the spectrum in a cone. We extend to this case Levin's theorem on a connection between the Jessen function, secular constant, and the Phragmen-Lindelof indicator. Then we obtain a multidimensional version of Picard's theorem on exceptional values for our class.
We study several connected problems of holomorphic function spaces on homogeneous Siegel domains. The main object of our study concerns weighted mixed norm Bergman spaces on homogeneous Siegel domains of type II. These problems include: sampling, atomic decomposition, duality, boundary values, boundedness of the Bergman projectors. Our analysis include the Hardy spaces, and suitable generalizations of the classical Bloch and Dirichlet spaces. One of the main novelties in this work is the generality of the domains under consideration, that is, homogeneous Siegel domains, extending many results …
An almost periodic function in finite-dimensional space extends to a holomorphic bounded function in a tube domain with a cone in the base if and only if the spectrum belongs to the conjugate cone. Also, an almost periodic function in finite-dimensional space has the bounded spectrum if and only if it extends to an entire function of exponential type.

Asymptotic total geodesy of local holomorphic curves exiting a bounded symmetric domain and applications to a uniformization problem for algebraic subsets
Let G(x_r-x_e) be the causal Green function for the wave equation in four spacetime dimensions, representing the signal received at the spacetime point x_r due to an impulse emitted at the spacetime point x_e. Such emission and reception processes are highly idealized, since no signal can be emitted or received at a single (mathematical) point in space and time. We present a simple model for \sl extended \rm emitters and receivers by extending G analytically to a function \tilde G(z_r- z_e), where z_e=x_e+iy_e is a complex spacetime point representing a circular \sl pulsed-beam emitting antenn…
