A generalization of Pardue's formula

In this paper, we introduce a new class of monomial ideals, called $d$-fixed ideals, which generalize the class of $p$-Borel ideals and show how some results for $p$-Borel ideals can be transfered to this new class. In particular, we give the form of a principal $d$-fixed ideal and we compute the socle of factors of these ideals. This allowed us to give a generalization of Pardue's formula,i.e. a formula of the regularity for a principal $d$-fixed ideal.

On special p-Borel ideals

We define the reduced horseshoe resolution and the notion of conjoined pairs of ideals in order to study the minimal graded free resolution of a class of p-Borel ideals and recover Pardue's regularity formula for them. It will follow from our technique that the graded betti numbers of these ideals do not depend on the characteristic of the base field k.

Distractions of Shakin rings

We study, by means of embeddings of Hilbert functions, a class of rings which we call Shakin rings, i.e. quotients K[X_1,...,X_n]/a of a polynomial ring over a field K by ideals a=L+P which are the sum of a piecewise lex-segment ideal L, as defined by Shakin, and a pure powers ideal P. Gorenstein injective dimension and a generalization of Ischebeck Formula

Let $(R,\frak m)$ be a commutative Noetherian local ring and let $M$ and $N$ be finitely generated $R$-modules of finite injective dimension and finite Gorenstein injective dimension, respectively. In this paper we prove a generalization of Ischebeck Formula, that is $\depth_RM+\sup\{i| {0.1cm}\Ext_R^i(M,N)\neq 0\}=\depth R.$

Explicit double shuffle relations and a generalization of Euler's decomposition formula

We give an explicit formula for the shuffle relation in a general double shuffle framework that specializes to double shuffle relations of multiple zeta values and multiple polylogarithms. As an application, we generalize the well-known decomposition formula of Euler that expresses the product of two Riemann zeta values as a sum of double zeta values to a formula that expresses the product of two multiple polylogarithm values as a sum of other multiple polylogarithm values.

A generalization of an inequality of Lech relating multiplicity and colength

We study conjectured generalizations of a formula of Lech which relates the multiplicity of a finite colength ideal in an equicharacteristic local ring to its colength, and prove one of these generalizations involving the multiplicity of the maximal ideal times the finite colength ideal. We also propose a Lech-type formula that relates multiplicity and the number of generators. We prove the conjecture in dimension three and establish a weaker result in full generality.

Generalizations of the restriction theorem for multiplier ideals

We present an algebro-geometric perspective on some generalizations, due to S. Takagi, of the restriction theorem for multiplier ideals. The first version of the restriction theorem for multiplier ideals was discovered by Esnault and Viehweg. In a series of papers S. Takagi has discovered generalizations of the restriction theorem and some formulas for multiplier ideals that follow from the restriction theorem.
