Spreading of Lagrangian regularity on rational invariant tori

Let $P_h$ be a self-adjoint semiclassical pseudodifferential operator on a manifold $M$ such that the bicharacteristic flow of the principal symbol on $T^*M$ is completely integrable and the subprincipal symbol of $P_h$ vanishes. Consider a semiclassical family of eigenfunctions, or, more generally, quasimodes $u_h$ of $P_h.$ We show that on a nondegenerate rational invariant torus, Lagrangian regularity of $u_h$ (regularity under test operators characteristic on the torus) propagates both along bicharacteristics, and also in an additional ``diffractive'' manner. In particular, in addition to propagating along null bicharacteristics, regularity fills in the interiors of small annular tubes of bicharacteristics.

The interior regularity of the Calabi flow on a toric surface

Let X be a toric surface with Delzant polygon P and u(t) be a solution of the Calabi flow equation on P. Suppose the Calabi flow exists in [0, T). Global Existence for The Massive Dirac Equations with small initial datum on Tori

On the Fast Spreading Scenario

We study two types of divergence-free fluid flows on unbounded domains in two and three dimensions -- hyperbolic and shear flows -- and their influence on chemotaxis and combustion. We show that fast spreading by these flows, when they are strong enough, can suppress growth of solutions to PDE modeling these phenomena. Generic colourful tori and inverse spectral transform for Hankel operators

This paper explores the regularity properties of an inverse spectral transform for Hilbert--Schmidt Hankel operators on the unit disc. Semiclassical second microlocal propagation of regularity and integrable systems

We develop a second-microlocal calculus of pseudodifferential operators in the semiclassical setting. These operators test for Lagrangian regularity of semiclassical families of distributions on a manifold $X$ with respect to a Lagrangian submanifold of $T^*X.$ The construction of the calculus, closely analogous to one performed by Bony in the setting of homogeneous Lagrangians, proceeds via the consideration of a model case, that of the zero section of $T^*\mathbb{R}^n,$ and conjugation by appropriate Fourier integral operators. Reducibility of first order linear operators on tori via Moser's theorem

In this paper we prove reducibility of classes of linear first order operators on tori by applying a generalization of Moser's theorem on straightening of vector fields on a torus. On Radon transforms on tori

We show injectivity of the X-ray transform and the $d$-plane Radon transform for distributions on the $n$-torus, lowering the regularity assumption in the recent work by Abouelaz and Rouvière. We also show solenoidal injectivity of the X-ray transform on the $n$-torus for tensor fields of any order, allowing the tensors to have distribution valued coefficients. These imply new injectivity results for the periodic broken ray transform on cubes of any dimension.

Two-microlocal regularity of quasimodes on the torus

We study the regularity of stationary and time-dependent solutions to strong perturbations of the free Schrödinger equation on two-dimensional flat tori. This is achieved by performing a second microlocalization related to the size of the perturbation and by analysing concentration and nonconcentration properties at this new scale. In particular, we show that sufficiently accurate quasimodes can only concentrate on the set of critical points of the average of the potential along geodesics.

Uniform estimates for the solutions of the Schrödinger equation on the torus and regularity of semiclassical measures

We establish uniform bounds for the solutions $e^{itΔ}u$ of the Schrödinger equation on arithmetic flat tori, generalising earlier results by J. Bourgain. We also study the regularity properties of weak-* limits of sequences of densities of the form $|e^{itΔ}u_{n}|^{2}$ corresponding to highly oscillating sequences of initial data $(u_{n})$. We obtain improved regularity properties of those limits using previous results by N. Anantharaman and F. Macià on the structure of semiclassical measures for solutions to the Schrödinger equation on the torus.
