Brauer-Manin obstruction for integral points of homogeneous spaces and representation by integral quadratic forms

An integer may be represented by a quadratic form over each ring of p-adic integers and over the reals without being represented by this quadratic form over the integers. More generally, such failure of a local-global principle may occur for the representation of one integral quadratic form by another integral quadratic form. We show that many such examples may be accounted for by a Brauer-Manin obstruction for the existence of integral points on schemes defined over the integers. Nous montrons qu'un raffinement du théorème de Siegel sur les points entiers de courbes algébriques impliquerait la conjecture abc de Masser-Oesterlé. Nous formulons une hypothèse "Siegel uniforme" qui est une majoration de la hauteur des points S-entiers de la courbe, en termes du corps de rationalité et de l'ensemble de places S. Sur la conjecture de Tate entière pour le produit d'une courbe et d'une surface $CH_{0}$-triviale sur un corps fini

We investigate a strong version of the integral Tate conjecture for 1-cycles on the product of a curve and a surface over a finite field, under the assumption that the surface is geometrically $CH_0$-trivial. By this we mean that over any algebraically closed field extension, the degree map on the zero-dimensional Chow group of the surface is an isomorphism. This applies to Enriques surfaces. When the Néron-Severi group has no torsion, we recover earlier results of A. Pirutka. The results rely on a detailed study of the third unramified cohomology group of specific products of varieties.
