Classification of actions of duals of finite groups on the AFD factor of type II_1

We will show the uniqueness of outer coactions of finite groups on the AFD factor of type II$_1$ along the arguments by Connes, Jones and Ocneanu. Namely, we construct the infinite tensor product type action, adopt it as the model action, and prove that any outer coaction is conjugate to the model action.

A Classification of Flows on AFD Factors with Faithful Connes--Takesaki Modules

We classify flows on AFD factors with faithful Connes-Takesaki modules. This is a generalization of classification of trace-scaling flows on the AFD $\mathrm{II}_\infty$ factor, which is equivalent to the uniqueness of the AFD $\mathrm{III}_1$ factor. In order to do this, we show that a flow on an AFD factor with faithful Connes-Takesaki module has the Rohlin property, which gives a partial answer to a characterization problem of the Rohlin property posed by Masuda-Tomatsu. Classification of minimal actions of a compact Kac algebra with amenable dual

We show the uniqueness of minimal actions of a compact Kac algebra with amenable dual on the AFD factor of type II$_1$. This particularly implies the uniqueness of minimal actions of a compact group. Our main tools are a Rohlin type theorem, the 2-cohomology vanishing theorem, and the Evans-Kishimoto type intertwining argument.

Classification of actions of compact abelian groups on subfactors with index less than 4

We calssify actions of discrete abelian groups on some inclusions of von Neumann algebras, up to cocycle conjugacy. As an application, we classify actions of compact abelian groups on the inclusions of AFD factors of type II_1 with index less than 4, up to stable conjugacy.

Concrete Classification and Centralizers of Certain $\mathbb{Z}^2 \rtimes {\rm SL}(2,\mathbb{Z})$-actions

We introduce a new class of actions of the group $\G$ on finite von Neumann algebras and call them twisted Bernoulli shift actions. We classify these actions up to conjugacy and give an explicit description of their centralizers. We classify a certain class of minimal actions of a compact Kac algebra with amenable dual on injective factors of type III. Our main technical tools are the structural analysis of type III factors and the theory of canonical extension of endomorphisms introduced by Izumi.
