Categorified quantum sl(2) and equivariant cohomology of iterated flag varieties

A 2-category was introduced in arXiv:0803.3652 [math.QA] that categorifies Lusztig's integral version of quantum sl(2). Here we construct for each positive integer N arepresentation of this 2-category using the equivariant cohomology of iterated flag varieties. This representation categorifies the irreducible (N+1)-dimensional representation of quantum sl(2).

Cohomology classes of conormal bundles of Schubert varieties and Yangian weight functions

We consider the conormal bundle of a Schubert variety $S_I$ in the cotangent bundle $T^* Gr$ of the Grassmannian $Gr$ of $k$-planes in $C^n$. This conormal bundle has a fundamental class ${κ_I}$ in the equivariant cohomology $H^*_{T}(T^* Gr)$. Here $T=(C^*)^n\times C^*$. The torus $(C^*)^n$ acts on $T^* Gr$ in the standard way and the last factor $C^*$ acts by multiplication on fibers of the bundle. On a class of representations of the Yangian and moduli space of monopoles

A new class of infinite dimensional representations of the Yangians $Y(\frak{g})$ and $Y(\frak{b})$ corresponding to a complex semisimple algebra $\frak{g}$ and its Borel subalgebra $\frak{b}\subset\frak{g}$ is constructed. It is based on the generalization of the Drinfeld realization of $Y(\frak{g})$, $\frak{g}=\frak{gl}(N)$ in terms of quantum minors to the case of an arbitrary semisimple Lie algebra $\frak{g}$. Hamiltonian reduction for affine Grassmannian slices and truncated shifted Yangians

Generalized affine Grassmannian slices provide geometric realizations for weight spaces of representations of semisimple Lie algebras. They are also Coulomb branches, symplectic dual to Nakajima quiver varieties. In this paper, we prove that neighbouring generalized affine Grassmannian slices are related by Hamiltonian reduction by the action of the additive group. We also prove a weaker version of the same result for their quantizations, algebras known as truncated shifted Yangians.

Cones from quantum groups to tropical flag varieties

We relate quantum degree cones, parametrizing PBW degenerations of quantized enveloping algebras, to (negative tight monomial) cones introduced by Lusztig in the study of monomials in canonical bases, to K-theoretic cones for quiver representations, and to some maximal prime cones in tropical flag varieties.

q-Identities and affinized projective varieties, II. Flag varieties

In a previous paper we defined the concept of an affinized projective variety and its associated Hilbert series. We computed the Hilbert series for varieties associated to quadratic monomial ideals. In this paper we show how to apply these results to affinized flag varieties. We discuss various examples and conjecture a correspondence between the Hilbert series of an affinized flag variety and a modified Hall-Littlewood polynomial. We briefly discuss the application of these results to quasi-particle character formulas for affine Lie algebra modules.

A classification of H-primes of quantum partial flag varieties

We classify the invariant prime ideals of a quantum partial flag variety under the action of the related maximal torus. As a result we construct a bijection between them and the torus orbits of symplectic leaves of the standard Poisson structure on the corresponding flag variety. It was previously shown by K. Goodearl and the author that the latter are precisely the Lusztig strata of the partial flag variety.

"Classical" flag varieties for quantum groups: the standard quantum SL(n,C)

We suggest a possible programme to associate geometric "flag-like" data to an arbitrary simple quantum group, in the spirit of the noncommutative algebraic geometry developed by Artin, Tate, and Van den Bergh. We then carry out this programme for the standard quantum SL(n) of Drinfel'd and Jimbo, where the varieties involved are certain T-stable subvarieties of the (ordinary) flag variety.

New quiver-like varieties and Lie superalgebras

In order to extend the geometrization of Yangian $R$-matrices from Lie algebras $gl(n)$ to superalgebras $gl(M|N)$, we introduce new quiver-related varieties which are associated with representations of $gl(M|N)$. In order to define them similarly to the Nakajima-Cherkis varieties, we reformulate the construction of the latter by replacing the Hamiltonian reduction with the intersection of generalized Lagrangian subvarieties in the cotangent bundles of Lie algebras sitting at the vertices of the quiver.
