We suggest a possible programme to associate geometric "flag-like" data to an arbitrary simple quantum group, in the spirit of the noncommutative algebraic geometry developed by Artin, Tate, and Van den Bergh. We then carry out this programme for the standard quantum SL(n) of Drinfel'd and Jimbo, where the varieties involved are certain T-stable subvarieties of the (ordinary) flag variety.

Cones from quantum groups to tropical flag varieties

We relate quantum degree cones, parametrizing PBW degenerations of quantized enveloping algebras, to (negative tight monomial) cones introduced by Lusztig in the study of monomials in canonical bases, to K-theoretic cones for quiver representations, and to some maximal prime cones in tropical flag varieties.

q-Identities and affinized projective varieties, II. Flag varieties

In a previous paper we defined the concept of an affinized projective variety and its associated Hilbert series. We computed the Hilbert series for varieties associated to quadratic monomial ideals. In this paper we show how to apply these results to affinized flag varieties. We discuss various examples and conjecture a correspondence between the Hilbert series of an affinized flag variety and a modified Hall-Littlewood polynomial. We briefly discuss the application of these results to quasi-particle character formulas for affine Lie algebra modules.

A classification of H-primes of quantum partial flag varieties

We classify the invariant prime ideals of a quantum partial flag variety under the action of the related maximal torus. As a result we construct a bijection between them and the torus orbits of symplectic leaves of the standard Poisson structure on the corresponding flag variety. It was previously shown by K. Goodearl and the author that the latter are precisely the Lusztig strata of the partial flag variety.

Quantum toric degeneration of quantum flag and Schubert varieties

We show that certain homological regularity properties of graded connected algebras, such as being AS-Gorenstein or AS-Cohen-Macaulay, can be tested by passing to associated graded rings. In the spirit of noncommutative algebraic geometry, this can be seen as an analogue of the classical result that, in a flat family of varieties over the affine line, regularity properties of the exceptional fiber extend to all fibers. Categorified quantum sl(2) and equivariant cohomology of iterated flag varieties

A 2-category was introduced in arXiv:0803.3652 [math.QA] that categorifies Lusztig's integral version of quantum sl(2). Here we construct for each positive integer N arepresentation of this 2-category using the equivariant cohomology of iterated flag varieties. This representation categorifies the irreducible (N+1)-dimensional representation of quantum sl(2).

Quantum flag varieties, equivariant quantum D-modules and localization of quantum groups

Let $\Oq(G)$ be the algebra of quantized functions on an algebraic group $G$ and $\Oq(B)$ its quotient algebra corresponding to a Borel subgroup $B$ of $G$. We define the category of sheaves on the "quantum flag variety of $G$" to be the $\Oq(B)$-equivariant $\Oq(G)$-modules and proves that this is a proj-category. We construct a category of equivariant quantum $\mathcal{D}$-modules on this quantized flag variety and prove the Beilinson-Bernsteins localization theorem for this category in the case when $q$ is not a root of unity.

Solutions to the XXX type Bethe ansatz equations and flag varieties

We consider a version of the A_N Bethe equation of XXX type and introduce a reproduction procedure constructing new solutions of this equation from a given one. The set of all solutions obtained from a given one is called a population. We show that a population is isomorphic to the sl_{N+1} flag variety and that the populations are in one-to-one correspondence with intersection points of suitable Schubert cycles in a Grassmanian variety.
