Multipliers of operator spaces, and the injective envelope

We study the injective envelope I(X) of an operator space X, showing amongst other things that it is a self-dual C$^*-$module. We describe the diagonal corners of the injective envelope of the canonical operator system associated with X. We prove that if X is an operator $A-B$-bimodule, then A and B can be represented completely contractively as subalgebras of these corners. Thus, the operator algebras that can act on X are determined by these corners of I(X) and consequently bimodules actions on X extend naturally to actions on I(X). On tensor products of operator modules

The injective tensor product of normal representable bimodules over von Neumann algebras is shown to be normal. The usual Banach module projective tensor product of central representable bimodules over an Abelian C$^*$-algebra is shown to be representable. A normal version of the projective tensor product is introduced for central normal bimodules.

Contributions to the theory of C*-correspondences with applications to multivariable dynamics

Motivated by the theory of tensor algebras and multivariable C*-dynamics, we revisit two fundamental techniques in the theory of C*-correspondences, the "addition of a tail" to a non-injective C*-correspondence and the dilation of an injective C*-correspondence to an essential Hilbert bimodule. We provide a very broad scheme for "adding a tail" to a non-injective C*-correspondence; our scheme includes the "tail" of Muhly and Tomforde as a special case. On the inverse semigroup of bimodules over a C*-algebra

It was noticed recently that, given a metric space $(X,d_X)$, the equivalence classes of metrics on the disjoint union of the two copies of $X$ coinciding with $d_X$ on each copy form an inverse semigroup $M(X)$ with respect to concatenation of metrics.
