A Lefschetz formula for flows

For the geodesic flow of an odd dimensional hyperbolic manifold we prove a Lefschetz type formula. The local terms are Fuller indices of the closed orbits. The global "Frobenius operator" is the generator of the flow and its action on tangential cohomology.

Lefschetz Hyperplane Theorem for Stacks

We use Morse theory to prove that the Lefschetz Hyperplane Theorem holds for compact smooth Deligne-Mumford stacks over the site of complex manifolds. For $Z \subset X$ a hyperplane section, $X$ can be obtained from $Z$ by a sequence of deformation retracts and attachments of high-dimensional finite disc quotients. We use this to derive more familiar statements about the relative homotopy, homology, and cohomology groups of the pair $(X,Z)$. Asymptotically holomorphic theory for symplectic orbifolds

We extend Donaldson's asymptotically holomorphic techniques to symplectic orbifolds. More precisely, given a symplectic orbifold such that the symplectic form defines an integer cohomology class, we prove that there exist sections of large tensor powers of the prequantizable line bundle such that their zero sets are symplectic suborbifolds. We then derive a Lefschetz hyperplane theorem for these suborbifolds, that computes their real cohomology up to middle dimension. We also get the hard Lefschetz and formality properties for them, when the ambient manifold satisfies those properties.

Twisted basic Dolbeault cohomology on transverse Kähler foliations

In this paper, we study the twisted basic Dolbeault cohomology and transverse hard Lefschetz theorem on a transverse Kahler foliation. And we give some properties for $Δ_κ$-harmonic forms and prove the Kodaira-Serre type duality for the twisted basic Dolbeault cohomology.

Hard Lefschetz Theorem for Sasakian manifolds

We prove that on a compact Sasakian manifold $(M, η, g)$ of dimension $2n+1$, for any $0 \le p \le n$ the wedge product with $η\wedge (dη)^p$ defines an isomorphism between the spaces of harmonic forms $Ω^{n-p}_Δ(M)$ and $Ω^{n+p+1}_Δ(M)$. Therefore it induces an isomorphism between the de Rham cohomology spaces $H^{n-p}(M)$ and $H^{n+p+1}(M)$. Such isomorphism is proven to be independent of the choice of a compatible Sasakian metric on a given contact manifold. As a consequence, an obstruction for a contact manifold to admit Sasakian structures is found.

De Rham and twisted cohomology of Oeljeklaus-Toma manifolds

Oeljeklaus-Toma (OT) manifolds are complex non-Kähler manifolds whose construction arises from specific number fields. In this note, we compute their de Rham cohomology in terms of invariants associated to the background number field. This is done by two distinct approaches, one using invariant cohomology and the other one using the Leray-Serre spectral sequence. In addition, we compute also their Morse-Novikov cohomology.
