We provide an explicit formula for the Tornheim double series T(a,0,c) in terms of an integral involving the Hurwitz zeta function. For integer values of the parameters, a=m, c=n, we show that in the most interesting case of even weight N:=m+n the Tornheim sum T(m,0,n) can be expressed in terms of zeta values and the family of integrals % \int_0^1 loggamma(q) B_{k}(q) Cl_{j+1} (2 πq) dq, % with k+j = N, where B_{k}(q) is a Bernoulli polynomial and \Cl_{j+1}(x) is a Clausen function.
We introduce signed q-analogs of Tornheim's double series, and evaluate them in terms of double q-Euler sums. As a consequence, we provide explicit evaluations of signed and unsigned Tornheim double series, and correct some mistakes in the literature.

Recently, Rosengren utilized an integral method to prove a number of conjectural identities found by Kanade and Russell. Using this integral method, we give new proofs to some double sum identities of Rogers-Ramanujan type. These identities were earlier proved by approaches such as combinatorial arguments or by using $q$-difference equations. Our proofs are based on streamlined calculations, which relate these double sum identities to some known Rogers-Ramanujan type identities with single sums. Moreover, we prove a conjectural identity of Andrews and Uncu which was earlier confirmed by Chern.

In this paper, we derive some explicit expansion formulas associated to Brenke polynomials using operational rules based on their corresponding generating functions. The obtained coefficients are expressed either in terms of finite double sums or finite sums or sometimes in closed hypergeometric terms. The derived results are applied to Generalized Gould-Hopper polynomials and Generalized Hermite polynomials introduced by Szegö and Chihara.
