On the parameterization of primitive ideals in affine PI algebras

We consider the following question, concerning associative algebras R over an algebraically closed field k: When can the space of (equivalence classes of) finite dimensional irreducible representations of R be topologically embedded into a classical affine space? We provide an affirmative answer for algebraic quantum groups at roots of unity. More generally, we give an affirmative answer for k-affine maximal orders satisfying a polynomial identity, when k has characteristic zero. Our approach closely follows the foundational studies by Artin and Procesi on finite dimensional representations. Our results also depend on Procesi's later study of Cayley-Hamilton identities.

Quantized primitive ideal spaces as quotients of affine algebraic varieties

Given an affine algebraic variety V and a quantization A of its coordinate ring, it is conjectured that the primitive ideal space of A can be expressed as a topological quotient of V. Evidence in favor of this conjecture is discussed, and positive solutions for several types of varieties (obtained in joint work with E. S. Letzter) are described. In particular, explicit topological quotient maps are given in the case of quantum toric varieties.

Semiclassical Limits of Quantum Affine Spaces

Semiclassical limits of generic multiparameter quantized coordinate rings A = O_q(k^n) of affine spaces are constructed and related to A, for k an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero and q a multiplicatively antisymmetric matrix whose entries generate a torsionfree subgroup of k*. Primitive ideals of the ring of differential operators on an affine toric variety

Let $A$ be a $d\times n$ integer matrix whose column vectors generate the lattice $\Z^d$, and let $D(R_A)$ be the ring of differential operators on the affine toric variety defined by $A$. We show that the classification of $A$-hypergeometric systems and that of $\Z^d$-graded simple $D(R_A)$-modules (up to shift) are the same. We then show that the set of $\Z^d$-homogeneous primitive ideals of $D(R_A)$ is finite. Furthermore, we give conditions for the algebra $D(R_A)$ being simple.

Quantized coordinate rings and related noetherian algebras

This paper contains a survey of some ring-theoretic aspects of quantized coordinate rings, with primary focus on the prime and primitive spectra. For these algebras, the overall structure of the prime spectrum is governed by a partition into strata determined by the action of a suitable group of automorphisms of the algebra. Prime affine algebras of GK dimension two which are almost PI algebras

An almost PI algebra is a generalisation of a just infinite algebra which does not satisfy a polynomial identity. An almost PI algebra has some nice properties: It is prime, has a countable cofinal subset of ideals and when satisfying ACC(semiprimes), it has only countably many height 1 primes. Primitive spaces of matrices with upper rank two over the field with two elements

For fields with more than $2$ elements, the classification of the vector spaces of matrices with rank at most $2$ is already known. In this work, we complete that classification for the field $\mathbb{F}_2$. We apply the results to obtain the classification of triples of locally linearly dependent operators over $\mathbb{F}_2$, the classification of the $3$-dimensional subspaces of $\text{M}_3(\mathbb{F}_2)$ in which no matrix has a non-zero eigenvalue, and the classification of the $3$-dimensional affine spaces that are included in the general linear group $\text{GL}_3(\mathbb{F}_2)$.

Twisted generalized Weyl algebras and primitive quotients of enveloping algebras

To each multiquiver $Γ$ we attach a solution to the consistency equations associated to twisted generalized Weyl (TGW) algebras. This generalizes several previously obtained solutions in the literature. We show that the corresponding algebras $\mathcal{A}(Γ)$ carry a canonical representation by differential operators and that $\mathcal{A}(Γ)$ is universal among all TGW algebras with such a representation.
