Given a random sequence of holomorphic maps $f_1,f_2,f_3,...$ of the unit disk $Δ$ to a subdomain $X$, we consider the compositions $$F_n=f_1 \circ f_{2} \circ ... f_{n-1} \circ f_n.$$ The sequence $\{F_n\}$ is called the {\em iterated function system} coming from the sequence $f_1,f_2,f_3,....$ We prove that a sufficient condition on the domain $X$ for all limit functions of any $\{F_n\}$ to be constant is also necessary. We prove the condition is a quasiconformal invariant. Finally, we address the question of uniqueness of limit functions.

From an iteration formula to Poincaré's Isochronous Center Theorem for holomorphic vector fields

We first generalize a classical iteration formula for one variable holomorphic mappings to a formula for higher dimensional holomorphic mappings. Then, as an application, we give a short and intuitive proof of a classical theorem, due to H. Poincaré, for the condition under which a singularity of a holomorphic vector field is an isochronous center.

Canonical Models for holomorphic iteration

We construct canonical intertwining semi-models with Kobayashi hyperbolic base space for holomorphic self-maps of complex manifolds which are univalent on some absorbing cocompact hyperbolic domain. We introduce a geometric condition of Bloch type which guarantees that a subset of a bounded convex domain in several complex variables is degenerate with respect to every iterated function system. Canonical models for the forward and backward iteration of holomorphic maps

We prove the existence and the essential uniqueness of canonical models for the forward (resp. backward) iteration of a holomorphic self-map $f$ of a cocompact Kobayashi hyperbolic complex manifold, such as the ball $\mathbb{B}^q$ or the polydisc $Δ^q$. The linearized Calderón problem on complex manifolds

In this note we show that on any compact subdomain of a Kähler manifold that admits sufficiently many global holomorphic functions, the products of harmonic functions form a complete set. This gives a positive answer to the linearized anisotropic Calderón problem on a class of complex manifolds that includes compact subdomains of Stein manifolds and sufficiently small subdomains of Kähler manifolds. Given a fixed-point free compact holomorphic self-map $f$ on a bounded symmetric domain $D$, which may be infinite dimensional, we establish the existence of a family $\{H(ξ, λ)\}_{λ>0}$ of convex $f$-invariant domains at a point $ξ$ in the boundary $\partial D$ of $D$, which generalises completely Wolff's theorem for the open unit disc in $\mathbb{C}$. Let D_1 be a subdomain of D_2 in the complex plane CC. Under very mild conditions on D_2 we show that there exist holomorphic functions f, defined on D_1 with the property that $f$ is nowhere extendible across the boundary of D_1, while the graph of f over D_1 is NOT complete pluripolar in D_2 times CC. Asymptotic Solutions of the Tetration Equation

In this report we construct a family of holomorphic functions $β_{λ,μ} (s)$ which behave asymptotically like iterated exponentials as $|s| \to \infty$ in the right half plane. Each $β_{λ,μ}$ satisfies a convenient functional relationship with nested exponentials; and has a series expansion that converges in a half-plane. We investigate the random dynamics of rational maps on the Riemann sphere and the dynamics of semigroups of rational maps on the Riemann sphere. Complex Iterations of Entire Functions

In a previous paper we produced a complex iteration of a holomorphic function $ϕ$ in the immediate basin of a fixed point whose multiplier is a real number and in between zero and one.
