We give the center of the elliptic quantum group in general case. Based on the Dynamic Yang-Baxter Relation and the fusion method, we prove that the center commute with all generators of the elliptic quantum group. Then for a kind of assumed form of these generators, we find that the coefficients of these generators form a new type closed algebra. We also give the center for the algebra.

It is shown that the elliptic algebra A_{p,q}(sl(2)_c) has a non trivial center at the critical level $c=-2$, generalizing the result of Reshetikhin and Semenov-Tian-Shansky for trigonometric algebras. The central elements of the algebra of monodromy matrices associated with the $\mathbb{Z}_n$ R-matrix are studied. When the crossing parameter $w$ takes a special rational value $w=\frac{n}{N}$, where $N$ and $n$ are positive coprime integers, the center is substantially larger than that in the generic case for which the "quantum determinant" provides the center. In the trigonometric limit, the situation corresponds to the quantum group at roots of unity. This is a higher rank generalization of the recent results by Belavin and Jimbo.
We identify generating functionals that satisfy dynamical exchange relations with the Lax matrices defining the face-type elliptic quantum algebra ${\mathcal{B}}_{q,λ}(\hat{gl}_{2})_c$, when the central charge takes the two possible values $c =\pm 2$. These generating functionals are constructed as quadratic trace-like objects in terms of the Lax matrices. The obtained structures are characterized as "dynamical centers", i.e. the centrality property is deformed by dynamical shifts. For these values, the functionals define (genuine) abelian subalgebras of ${\mathcal{B}}_{q,λ}(\hat{gl}_{2})_c$.
We construct symmetric and exterior powers of the vector representation of the elliptic quantum groups $E_{τ,η}(gl_N)$. The corresponding transfer matrices give rise to various integrable difference equations which could be solved in principle by the nested Bethe ansatz method. We introduce a generalization of elliptic 6j-symbols, which can be interpreted as matrix elements for intertwiners between corepresentations of Felder's elliptic quantum group. For special parameter values, they can be expressed in terms of multivariable elliptic hypergeometric series related to the root system A_n. We construct a fully faithful functor from the category C_F of finite-dimensional representations of Felder's (dynamical) elliptic quantum group E_{tau,gamma}(gl(n)) to a cretain category D_B of (infinite-dimensional) representations of Belavin's quantum elliptic algebra B by difference operators, and a fully faithful functor from the category C_B of finite-dimensional representations of B to D_B.
