We deal with two-generator subgroups of PSL(2,C) with real traces of both generators and their commutator. We give discreteness criteria for these groups when at least one of the generators is parabolic. We also present a list of the corresponding orbifolds.

Parabolic subgroups acting on the additional length graph

Let $A\neq A_1, A_2, I_{2m}$ be an irreducible Artin--Tits group of spherical type. We show that periodic elements of $A$ and the elements preserving some parabolic subgroup of $A$ act elliptically on the additional length graph $\mathcal{C}_{AL}(A)$, an hyperbolic, infinite diameter graph associated to $A$ constructed by Calvez and Wiest to show that $A/Z(A)$ is acylindrically hyperbolic. Let $G$ be a finitely generated group of isometries of $\HH^m$, hyperbolic $m$-space, for some positive integer $m$. %or equivalently elements of $PSL(2,\CC)$. Presentations of Groups with Even Length Relations

We study the properties of groups that have presentations in which the square of each generator gives the identity and all relations are of even length. We consider the parabolic subgroups of such a group and show that every element has a factorisation with respect to a given parabolic subgroup. Furthermore, we give a counterexample, using a cluster group presentation, which demonstrates that this factorisation is not necessarily unique.
