From p-adic to real Grassmannians via the quantum

Let F be a local field. The action of GL(n,F) on the Grassmann variety Gr(m,n,F) induces a continuous representation of the maximal compact subgroup of GL(n,F) on the space of L^2-functions on Gr(m,n,F). The irreducible constituents of this representation are parameterized by the same underlying set both for Archimedean and non-Archimedean fields. This paper connects the Archimedean and non-Archimedean theories using the quantum Grassmannian. In particular, idempotents in the Hecke algebra associated to this representation are the image of the quantum zonal spherical functions after taking appropriate limits. Consequently, a correspondence is established between some irreducible representations with Archimedean and non-Archimedean origin.

Pseudoriemannian symmetric spaces: one-type realizations and open embeddings to grassmannians

We show that each classical pseudoriemann symmetric space G/H can be realized as space of pairs of complementary subspaces in a linear space. For each classical symmetric space we construct an open embedding to a grassmannian or to a product of two grassmanianns. We also show that the representation of the group G in L^2 on G/H is equivalent to restriction of a degenerated principal series representation of some group Q containing G.

Perverse Sheaves on Real Loop Grassmannians

The aim of this paper is to identify a certain tensor category of perverse sheaves on the real loop Grassmannian of a real form $G_{\mathbb R}$ of a connected reductive complex algebraic group $G$ with the category of finite-dimensional representations of a connected reductive complex algebraic subgroup $\check H$ of the dual group $\check G$. On the cardinalities of Kronecker quiver Grassmannians

We deduce using the Ringel-Hall algebra approach explicit formulas for the cardinalities of some Grassmannians over a finite field associated to the Kronecker quiver. We realize in this way a quantification of the formulas obtained by Caldero and Zelevinsky for the Euler characteristics of these Grassmannians. We also present a recursive algorithm for computing the cardinality of every Kronecker quiver Grassmannian over a finite field.

The Capelli identity and Radon transform for Grassmannians

We study a family $C_{s,l}$ of Capelli-type invariant differential operators on the space of rectangular matrices over a real division algebra. The $C_{s,l}$ descend to invariant differential operators on the corresponding Grassmannian, which is a compact symmetric space, and we determine the image of the $C_{s,l}$ under the Harish-Chandra homomorphism. Framed moduli and Grassmannians of submodules

In this work we study a realization of moduli spaces of framed quiver representations as Grassmannians of submodules devised by Marcus Reineke. Obtained is a generalization of this construction for finite dimensional associative algebras and for quivers with oriented cycles. As an application we get an explicit realization of fibers for the moduli space bundle over the categorical quotient for the quiver $A_{n-1}^{(1)}$.

Schubert Quiver Grassmannians

Quiver Grassmannians are projective varieties parametrizing subrepresentations of given dimension in a quiver representation. We define a class of quiver Grassmannians generalizing those which realize degenerate flag varieties. We show that each irreducible component of the quiver Grassmannians in question is isomorphic to a Schubert variety. We give an explicit description of the set of irreducible components, identify all the Schubert varieties arising, and compute the Poincaré polynomials of these quiver Grassmannians.

Geometry of quiver Grassmannians of Kronecker type and canonical basis of cluster algebras

We study quiver Grassmannians associated with indecomposable representations of the Kronecker quiver. We find a cellular decomposition of them and we compute their Betti numbers. As an application, we give a geometric realization of the "canonical basis" of cluster algebras of Kronecker type (found by Sherman and Zelevinsky) and of type $A_2^{(1)}$.

Quantum affine algebras and Grassmannians

We study the relation between quantum affine algebras of type A and Grassmannian cluster algebras. Hernandez and Leclerc described an isomorphism from the Grothendieck ring of a certain subcategory $\mathcal{C}_{\ell}$ of $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_n})$-modules to a quotient of the Grassmannian cluster algebra in which certain frozen variables are set to 1. Range characterization of the cosine transform on higher Grassmannians

We characterize the range of the cosine transform on real Grassmannians in terms of the decomposition under the action of the special orthogonal group SO(n). Also a geometric interpretation of its image is given. The non- Archimedean analogues are discussed.

On an analytic description of the $α$-cosine transform on real Grassmannians

The goal of this paper is to describe the $α$-cosine transform on functions on a Grassmannian of $i$-planes in an $n$-dimensional real vector space. in analytic terms as explicitly as possible. Quiver Grassmannians of extended Dynkin type D - Part 2: Schubert decompositions and F-polynomials

Extending the main result of Part 1, in the first part of this paper we show that every quiver Grassmannian of a representation of a quiver of extended Dynkin type $D$ has a decomposition into affine spaces.
