Matrix Bailey Lemma and the Star-Triangle Relation

We compare previously found finite-dimensional matrix and integral operator realizations of the Bailey lemma employing univariate elliptic hypergeometric functions. With the help of residue calculus we explicitly show how the integral Bailey lemma can be reduced to its matrix version. As a consequence, we demonstrate that the matrix Bailey lemma can be interpreted as a star-triangle relation, or as a Coxeter relation for a permutation group.

A remark on the q-hypergeometric integral Bailey pair and the solution to the star-triangle equation

We rewrite the recently constructed q-hypergeometric integral Bailey pair in a general form. Then with the help of the Bailey pair and $q$-beta hypergeometric sum-integral, we construct the star-triangle relation.

Extensions of the well-poised and elliptic well-poised Bailey lemma

We establish a number of extensions of the well-poised Bailey lemma and elliptic well-poised Bailey lemma. As application we prove some new transformation formulae for basic and elliptic hypergeometric series, and embed some recent identities of Andrews, Berkovich and Spiridonov in a well-poised Bailey tree.

Continuous biorthogonality of the elliptic hypergeometric function

We construct a family of continuous biorthogonal functions related to an elliptic analogue of the Gauss hypergeometric function. The key tools used for that are the elliptic beta integral and the integral Bailey chain introduced earlier by the author. Relations to the Sklyanin algebra and elliptic analogues of the Faddeev modular double are discussed in detail.

Aspects of elliptic hypergeometric functions

General elliptic hypergeometric functions are defined by elliptic hypergeometric integrals. They comprise the elliptic beta integral, elliptic analogues of the Euler-Gauss hypergeometric function and Selberg integral, as well as elliptic extensions of many other plain hypergeometric and $q$-hypergeometric constructions. Introduction to the theory of elliptic hypergeometric integrals

We give a brief account of the key properties of elliptic hypergeometric integrals -- a relatively recently discovered top class of transcendental special functions of hypergeometric type. In particular, we describe an elliptic generalization of Euler's and Selberg's beta integrals, elliptic analogue of the Euler-Gauss hypergeometric function and some multivariable elliptic hypergeometric functions on root systems. Summations and transformations for multiple basic and elliptic hypergeometric series by determinant evaluations

Using multiple q-integrals and a determinant evaluation, we establish a multivariable extension of Bailey's nonterminating 10-phi-9 transformation. From this result, we deduce new multivariable terminating 10-phi-9 transformations, 8-phi-7 summations and other identities. We also use similar methods to derive new multivariable 1-psi-1 summations. Some of our results are extended to the case of elliptic hypergeometric series.

Ramification of rough paths

The stack of iterated integrals of a path is embedded in a larger algebraic structure where iterated integrals are indexed by decorated rooted trees and where an extended Chen's multiplicative property involves the Dürr-Connes-Kreimer coproduct on rooted trees. This turns out to be the natural setting for a non-geometric theory of rough paths.
