Given certain intersection cohomology sheaves on a projective variety with a torus action, we relate the cohomology groups of their tensor product to the cohomology groups of the individual sheaves. We also prove a similar result in the case of equivariant cohomology.

We define two classes of representations of quivers over arbitrary fields, called monomorphic representations and epimorphic representations. We construct a module action of the affine nil-Hecke algebra $\hat{H}_*^{S^1 \times T}(LG/T)$ on the $S^1 \times T$-equivariant quantum cohomology of $M$, $QH^*_{S^1 \times T}(M).$ Our construction generalizes the theory of shift operators for Hamiltonian torus actions [OP,LJ]. We give a stratification of the GIT quotient of the Grassmannian $G_{2,n}$ modulo the normaliser of a maximal torus of $SL_{n}(k)$ with respect to the ample generator of the Picard group of $G_{2,n}$. We also prove that the flag variety $GL_{n}(k)/B_{n}$ can be obtained as a GIT quotient of $GL_{n+1}(k)/B_{n+1}$ modulo a maximal torus of $SL_{n+1}(k)$ for a suitable choice of an ample line bundle on $GL_{n+1}(k)/B_{n+1}$.
