Asymptotic expansion for the models of nonlinear dispersive, dissipative, equations

Considered herein are the family of nonlinear equations with both dispersive and dissipative homogeneous terms appended. Solutions of these equations that start with finite energia decay to zero as time goes to infinity. We present an asymptotic form which renders explicit the influence of the dissipative, dispersive and nonlinear effect in this decay. We obtain the second term in the asymptotic expansion, as time goes to infinity of the solutions of this equations and the complete asymptotic expansion, as time goes to infinity, of the linearized equations.

Global Regularity for the Critical Dispersive Dissipative Surface Quasi-Geostrophic Equation

We consider surface quasi-geostrophic equation with dispersive forcing and critical dissipation. We prove global existence of smooth solutions given sufficiently smooth initial data. Almost Sharp Global Well-Posedness for a class of Dissipative and Dispersive Equations on R in Low Regularity Sobolev Spaces

In this paper we obtain global well-posedness in low order Sobolev spaces of higher order KdV type equations with dissipation. The result is optimal in the sense that the flow-map is not twice continuously differentiable in rougher spaces. The solution is shown to be smooth for positive times.

Global regularity for the supercritical dissipative quasi-geostrophic equation with large dispersive forcing

We consider the 2D quasi-geostrophic equation with supercritical dissipation and dispersive forcing in the whole space. When the dispersive amplitude parameter is large enough, we prove the global well-posedness of strong solution to the equation with large initial data. We also show the strong convergence result as the amplitude parameter goes to $\infty$. Both results rely on the Strichartz-type estimates for the corresponding linear equation.

Gradient blow-up for dispersive and dissipative perturbations of the Burgers equation

Oscillatory and regularized shock waves for a dissipative Peregrine-Boussinesq system

We consider a dissipative, dispersive system of Boussinesq type, describing wave phenomena in settings where dissipation has an effect.
