We construct the fusion operators in the generalized $τ^{(2)}$-model using the fused $L$-operators, and verify the fusion relations with the truncation identity. The algebraic Bethe ansatz discussion is conducted on two special classes of $τ^{(2)}$ which include the superintegrable chiral Potts model. The Transfer Matrix of Superintegrable Chiral Potts Model as the Q-operator of Root-of-unity XXZ Chain with Cyclic Representation of $U_q(sl_2)$

We demonstrate that the transfer matrix of the inhomogeneous $N$-state chiral Potts model with two vertical superintegrable rapidities serves as the $Q$-operator of XXZ chain model for a cyclic representation of $U_{\sf q}(sl_2)$ with $N$th root-of-unity ${\sf q}$ and representation-parameter for odd $N$. The twisted XXZ chain at roots of unity revisited

The symmetries of the twisted XXZ spin-chain (alias the twisted six-vertex model) at roots of unity are investigated. It is shown that when the twist parameter is chosen to depend on the total spin an infinite-dimensional non-abelian symmetry algebra can be explicitly constructed for all spin sectors. This symmetry algebra is identified to be the upper or lower Borel subalgebra of the sl_2 loop algebra. The proof uses only the intertwining property of the six-vertex monodromy matrix and the familiar relations of the six-vertex Yang-Baxter algebra.

Quantum toroidal gl(1) and Bethe ansatz

We establish the method of Bethe ansatz for the XXZ type model obtained from the R-matrix associated to quantum toroidal gl(1). We do that by using shuffle realizations of the modules and by showing that the Hamiltonian of the model is obtained from a simple multiplication operator by taking an appropriate quotient. We expect this approach to be applicable to a wide variety of models.

On $Q$-operators of XXZ Spin Chain of Higher Spin

We provide two methods of producing the $Q$-operator of XXZ spin chain of higher spin, one for $N$th root-of-unity $q$ with odd $N$ and another for a general $q$, as the generalization of those known in the six-vertex model. In the root-of-unity case, we discuss the functional relations involving the constructed $Q$-operator for the symmetry study of the theory. The $Q$-operator of XXZ chain of higher spin for a generic $q$ is constructed by extending Baxter's argument in spin-1/2 case for the six-vertex $Q$-operator.

Completing Bethe's equations at roots of unity

In a previous paper we demonstrated that Bethe's equations are not sufficient to specify the eigenvectors of the XXZ model at roots of unity for states where the Hamiltonian has degenerate eigenvalues. We here find the equations which will complete the specification of the eigenvectors in these degenerate cases and present evidence that the $sl_2$ loop algebra symmetry is sufficiently powerful to determine that the highest weight of each irreducible representation is given by Bethe's ansatz.

Thermodynamics of the spin 1/2 XXZ model is studied in the critical regime using the quantum transfer matrix (QTM) approach. We find functional relations indexed by the Takahashi-Suzuki numbers among the fusion hierarchy of the QTM's (T-system) and their certain combinations (Y-system). Form factors of the XXZ Heisenberg spin-1/2 finite chain

Form factors for local spin operators of the XXZ Heisenberg spin-1/2 finite chain are computed. Representation theory of Drinfel'd twists for the sl2 quantum affine algebra in finite dimensional modules is used to calculate scalar products of Bethe states (leading to Gaudin formula) and to solve the quantum inverse problem for local spin operators in the finite XXZ chain.
