For a real irreducible dual pair there is an integral kernel operator which maps the distribution character of an irreducible admissible representation of the group with the smaller or equal rank to an invariant eigendistribution on the group with the larger or equal rank. The purpose of this article is to transfer this construction to the p-adic case. We provide the precise definition of the integral kernel operator and formulate a conjecture.

Let $\mathrm G / F$ be a reductive split $p$-adic group and let $\mathrm U$ be the unipotent radical of a Borel subgroup. We study the cohomology with trivial $\mathbb Z_p$-coefficients of the profinite nilpotent group $N = \mathrm U(\mathcal O_F)$ and its Lie algebra $\mathfrak n$, by extending a classical result of Kostant to our integral $p$-adic setup. The techniques used are a combination of results from group theory, algebraic groups and homological algebra.
This article shows that under general conditions, p-adic orbital integrals of definable functions are represented by virtual Chow motives. This gives an explicit example of the philosophy of Denef and Loeser, which predicts that all naturally occurring p-adic integrals are motivic.

We establish an invariant local trace formula for the tangent space of some symmetric spaces over a non-archimedean local field of characteristic zero. These symmetric spaces are studied in Guo-Jacquet trace formulae and our methods are inspired by works of Waldspurger and Arthur. In this paper we investigate some methods on calculating the spaces of generalized semi-invariant distributions on p-adic spaces. Using homological methods, we give a criterion of automatic extension of (generalized) semi-invariant distributions. Based on the meromorphic continuations of Igusa zeta integrals, we give another criteria with purely algebraic geometric conditions, on the extension of generalized semi-invariant distributions.
