On the big quantum cohomology of coadjoint varieties

This paper is devoted to the study of the quantum cohomology of coadjoint varieties of simple algebraic groups across all Dynkin types. We determine the non-semisimple factors of the small quantum cohomology ring and relate them to ADE-singularities. Moreover, we show that the big quantum cohomology of a coadjoint variety is always generically semisimple even though in most cases the small quantum cohomology is not.

Intersection cohomology of quotients of nonsingular varieties

The purpose of this paper is to provide a way to compute the intersection cohomology of the GIT quotient of a nonsingular projective variety. We show that the middle perversity intersection cohomology of the GIT quotient $M//G$ is naturally embedded into the $G$ equivariant cohomology of $M^{ss}$ under an assumption satisfied by many interesting spaces. This embedding enables us to compute the intersection pairing in terms of the cup product structure of the equivariant cohomology ring. The Duistermaat-Heckman formula and the cohomology of moduli spaces of polygons

We give a presentation of the cohomology ring of spatial polygon spaces $M(r)$ with fixed side lengths $r \in \mathbb R^n_+$. These spaces can be described as the symplectic reduction of the Grassmaniann of 2-planes in $\mathbb C^n$ by the $U(1)^n$-action by multiplication, where $U(1)^n$ is the torus of diagonal matrices in the unitary group U(n). Poisson Cohomology of holomorphic toric Poisson manifolds. II

In this paper, we give a description of holomorphic multi-vector fields on smooth compact toric varieties, which generalizes Demazure's result of holomorphic vector fields on toric varieties. Based on the result, we compute the Poisson cohomology groups of holomorphic toric Poisson manifolds, i.e., toric varieties endowed with $T$-invariant holomorphic Poisson structures.

Semisimplicity of the quantum cohomology for smooth Fano toric varieties associated with facet symmetric polytopes

The degree zero part of the quantum cohomology algebra of a smooth Fano toric symplectic manifold is determined by the superpotential function, W, of its moment polytope. In particular, this algebra is semisimple, i.e. splits as a product of fields, if and only if all the critical points of W are non-degenerate. In this paper we prove that this non-degeneracy holds for all smooth Fano toric varieties with facet-symmetric duals to moment polytopes.
