We give the fermionic character formulas for the spaces of coinvariants obtained from level $k$ integrable representations of $\hat{\mathfrak sl}_2$. We establish the functional realization of the spaces dual to the coinvariant spaces. We parameterize functions in the dual spaces by rigged partitions, and prove the recursion relations for the sets of rigged partitions.
The spaces of coinvariants are quotient spaces of integrable $\hat{sl_2}$ modules by subspaces generated by actions of certain subalgebras labeled by a set of points on a complex line. When all the points are distinct, the spaces of coinvariants essentially coincide with the spaces of conformal blocks in the WZW conformal field theory and their dimensions are given by the Verlinde rule. We describe monomial bases for the $\wsl$ spaces of coinvariants, In particular, we prove that the spaces of coinvariants have the same dimensions when all the points coincide. We establish recursive relations …
We consider two types of quotients of the integrable modules of $\hat{sl}_2$. These spaces of coinvariants have dimensions described in terms of the Verlinde algebra of level-$k$. We describe monomial bases for the spaces of coinvariants, which leads to a fermionic description of these spaces. For $k=1$, we give the explicit formulas for the characters. We also present recursion relations satisfied by the characters and the monomial bases.
We consider $\hat{sl_2}$ spaces of coinvariants with respect to two kinds of ideals of the enveloping algebra $U(sl_2\otimes\C[t])$. The first one is generated by $sl_2\otimes t^N$, and the second one is generated by $e\otimes P(t), f\otimes R(t)$ where $P(t), R(t)$ are fixed generic polynomials. (We also treat a generalization of the latter.) Using a method developed in our previous paper, we give new fermionic formulas for their Hilbert polynomials in terms of the level-restricted Kostka polynomials and $q$-multinomial symbols. As a byproduct, we obtain a fermionic formula for the fusion pro…
In our earlier paper we made a combinatorial study of (k,l)-admissible partitions. This object appeared already in the work of M. Primc as a label of a basis of level k-integrable modules over $\hat{sl}_l$. We clarify the relation between these two works. As a byproduct we obtain an explicit parameterization of the affine Weyl group of $\hat{sl}_l$ by a simple combinatorial set.
We study a class of representations of the Lie algebra of Laurent polynomials with values in the nilpotent subalgebra of sl(3). We derive Weyl-type (bosonic) character formulas for these representations. We establish a connection between the bosonic formulas and the Whittaker vector in the Verma module for the quantum group $U_v sl(3)$. We also obtain a fermionic formula for an eigenfunction of the sl(3) quantum Toda Hamiltonian.
The infinite affine Lie algebras of type ABCD, also called $\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}(\infty)$, $\widehat{\mathfrak{o}}(\infty)$, $\widehat{\mathfrak{sp}}(\infty)$, are equivalent to subalgebras of the quantum $W_{1+\infty}$ algebras. They have well-known representations on the Fock space of either a Dirac fermion ($\hat A_\infty$), a Majorana fermion ($\hat B_\infty$ and $\hat D_\infty$) or a symplectic boson ($\hat C_\infty$). Explicit formulas for the action of the quantum $W_{1+\infty}$ subalgebras on the Fock states are proposed for each representation. These formulas are the equivalent of …
