$Γ$-Conformal Algebras

$Γ$-conformal algebra is an axiomatic description of the operator product expansion of chiral fields with simple poles at finitely many points. We classify these algebras and their representations in terms of Lie algebras and their representations with an action of the group $Γ$. Universally defined representations of Lie conformal superalgebras

We distinguish a class of irreducible finite representations of conformal Lie (super)algebras. These representations (called universally defined) are the simplest ones from the computational point of view: a universally defined representation of a conformal Lie (super)algebra $L$ is completely determined by commutation relations of $L$ and by the requirement of associative locality of generators. Weyl's Law and Connes' Trace Theorem for Noncommutative Two Tori

We prove the analogue of Weyl's law for a noncommutative Riemannian manifold, namely the noncommutative two torus $\mathbb{T}_θ^2$ equipped with a general translation invariant conformal structure and a Weyl conformal factor. This is achieved by studying the asymptotic distribution of the eigenvalues of the perturbed Laplacian on $\mathbb{T}_θ^2$. We also prove the analogue of Connes' trace theorem by showing that the Dixmier trace and a noncommutative residue coincide on pseudodifferential operators of order -2 on $\mathbb{T}_θ^2$.

Relating the Archetypes of Logarithmic Conformal Field Theory

Logarithmic conformal field theory is a rich and vibrant area of modern mathematical physics with well-known applications to both condensed matter theory and string theory. Our limited understanding of these theories is based upon detailed studies of various examples that one may regard as archetypal. These include the c=-2 triplet model, the Wess-Zumino-Witten model on SL(2;R) at level k=-1/2, and its supergroup analogue on GL(1|1). Simple current extensions of vertex operator algebras by unitary modules

In this paper, a condition making vertex operator superalgebras to be unitary is determined and an analogue of conformal spin-statistics theorem in conformal field theory is proved. As an application of these results, it is proved that under some assumptions there exist vertex operator algebra structures on the direct sum of simple current unitary modules of unitary vertex operator algebras.

Unital associative pseudoalgebras and their representations

Pseudoalgebras, introduced in [BDK], are multi-dimensional analogues of conformal algebras, which provide an axiomatic description of the singular part of the operator product expansion. Our main interest in this paper is the pseudoalgebra Cend_n, which is the analogue of an algebra of endomorphisms of a finite module. We study its algebraic properties. In particular, we introduce the class of unital pseudoalgebras and describe their structure and representations. Also, we classify pseudoalgebras algebraically similar to Cend_n.

Vertex operator algebra analogue of embedding of $B_4$ into $F_4$

Let L_{B}(-5/2,0) (resp. L_{F}(-5/2,0)) be the simple vertex operator algebra associated to affine Lie algebra of type $B_{4}^{(1)}$ (resp. $F_{4}^{(1)}$) with the lowest admissible half-integer level -5/2. We show that L_{B}(-5/2,0) is a vertex subalgebra of L_{F}(-5/2,0) with the same conformal vector, and that L_{F}(-5/2,0) is isomorphic to the extension of L_{B}(-5/2,0) by its only irreducible module other than itself. Crossed modular categories and the Verlinde formula for twisted conformal blocks

In this paper, we give a Verlinde formula for computing the ranks of the bundles of twisted conformal blocks associated with a simple Lie algebra equipped with an action of a finite group $Γ$ and a positive integral level $\ell$ under the assumption that "$Γ$ preserves a Borel". As a motivation for this Verlinde formula, we prove a categorical Verlinde formula which computes the fusion coefficients for any $Γ$-crossed modular fusion category as defined by Turaev. Quasi-bialgebras from set-theoretic type solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation

We examine classes of quantum algebras emerging from involutive, non-degenerate set-theoretic solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation and their q-analogues. After providing some universal results on quasi-bialgebras and admissible Drinfeld twists we show that the quantum algebras produced from set-theoretic solutions and their q-analogues are in fact quasi-triangular quasi-bialgebras.
