In this note we prove a Weierstrass representation formula for pluriminimal submanifolds of euclidean spaces. We use this formula to produce new families of examples of pluriminimal submanifolds. We also prove that any affine algebraic manifold can be pluriminimally embedded into some euclidean space in a non holomorphic manner.

Broadly-Pluriminimal Submanifolds of Kaehler-Einstein Manifolds

We define broadly-pluriminimal immersed 2n-submanifold F: M --> N into a Kaehler-Einstein manifold of complex dimension 2n and scalar curvature R. We prove that, if M is compact, n \geq 2, and R < 0, then: (i) Either F has complex or Lagrangian directions; (ii) If n = 2, M is oriented, and F has no complex directions, then it is a Lagrangian submanifold, generalising the well-known case n = 1 for minimal surfaces due to Wolfson. Minimal submanifolds of Kaehler-Einstein manifolds with equal Kaehler angles

We consider $F: M \to N$ a minimal oriented compact real 2n-submanifold M, immersed into a Kaehler-Einstein manifold N of complex dimension 2n, and scalar curvature R. We assume that $n \geq 2$ and F has equal Kaehler angles. Our main result is to prove that, if n = 2 and $R \neq 0$, then F is either a complex submanifold or a Lagrangian submanifold. Weierstrass Relation for a Submanifold $S^k$ in $\EE^n$ Coming from Submanifold Dirac Operator

Using the submanifold quantum mechanical scheme, the restricted Dirac operator in a submanifold is defined. Then it is shown that the zero mode of the Dirac operator expresses the local properties of the submanifold, such as the Frenet-Serret and generalized Weierstrass relations. In other words this article gives a representation of a further generalized Weierstrass relations for a general k-spin manifolds immersed in n-dimensional euclidean space (0<k<n).

Submanifold Differential Operators in $\Cal D$-Module Theory II: Generalized Weierstrass and Frenet-Serret Relations as Dirac Equations

For this decade, the Dirac operator on a submanifold has been studied as a restriction of the Dirac operator in $n$-dimensional euclidean space $\EE^n$ to a surface or a space curve as physical models. Generalized Weierstrass Relations and Frobenius reciprocity

This article investigates local properties of the further generalized Weierstrass relations for a spin manifold $S$ immersed in a higher dimensional spin manifold $M$ from viewpoint of study of submanifold quantum mechanics. We show that kernel of a certain Dirac operator defined over $S$, which we call submanifold Dirac operator, gives the data of the immersion. In the derivation, the simple Frobenius reciprocity of Clifford algebras $S$ and $M$ plays important roles.

Spinorial representation of submanifolds in metric Lie groups

In this paper we give a spinorial representation of submanifolds of any dimension and codimension into Lie groups equipped with left invariant metrics. Complete minimal submanifolds with nullity in Euclidean spheres

In this paper we investigate $m$-dimensional complete minimal submanifolds in Euclidean spheres with index of relative nullity at least $m-2$ at any point. These are austere submanifolds in the sense of Harvey and Lawson \cite{harvey} and were initially studied by Bryant \cite{br}.
