Classification of Okamoto-Painlevé Pairs

In this paper, we introduce the notion of an Okamoto-Painlevé pair (S, Y) which consists of a compact smooth complex surface S and an effective divisor Y on S satisfying certain conditions. Though spaces of initial values of Painlevé equations introduced by K. Okamoto give examples of Okamoto-Painleve pairs, we find a new example of Okamoto-Painlevé pairs not listed in \cite{Oka}. We will give the complete classification of Okamoto-Painlevé pairs.

Deformation of Okamoto-Painlevé Pairs and Painlevé equations

In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized rational Okamoto-Painlevé pair (S, Y) by generalizing the notion of the spaces of initial conditions of Painlevé equations. After classifying those pairs, we will establish an algebro-geometric approach to derive the Painlevé differential equations from the deformation of Okamoto-Painlevé pairs by using the local cohomology groups. Local cohomology of generalized Okamoto-Painlevé pairs and Painlevé equations

In the theory of deformation of Okamoto-Painlevé pair (S,Y), a local cohomology group $H^1_D(Θ_S(-\log D))$ plays an important role. In this paper, we estimate the local cohomology group of pair (S,Y) for several types, and obtain the following results. For a pair (S,Y) corresponding to the space of initial conditions of the Painlevé equations, we show that the local cohomology group $H^1_D(Θ_S(-\log D))$ is at least 1 dimensional. Isomonodromic deformation of Lamé connections, Painlevé VI equation and Okamoto symetry

A Lamé connection is a logarithmic $\mathrm{sl}(2,\mathbb C)$-connection $(E,\nabla)$ over an elliptic curve $X:\{y^2=x(x-1)(x-t)\}$, $t\not=0,1$, having a single pole at infinity. When this connection is irreducible, we show that it is invariant by the standart involution and can be pushed down as a logarithmic $\mathrm{sl}(2,\mathbb C)$-connection over $\mathbb P^1$ with poles at $0$, $1$, $t$ and $\infty$. Nodal curves and Riccati solutions of Painlevé equations

In this paper, we study Riccati solutions of Painlevé equations from a view point of geometry of Okamoto-Painlevé pairs $(S,Y)$. After establishing the correspondence between (rational) nodal curves on $S-Y$ and Riccati solutions, we give the complete classification of the configurations of nodal curves on $S-Y$ for each Okamoto-Painlevé pair $(S, Y)$. Moduli of Stable Parabolic Connections, Riemann-Hilbert Correspondence and Geometry of Painlevé Equation of Type VI, Part II

In this paper, we show that the family of moduli spaces of $\balpha'$-stable $(\bt, \blambda)$-parabolic $ϕ$-connections of rank 2 over $\BP^1$ with 4-regular singular points and the fixed determinant bundle of degree -1 is isomorphic to the family of Okamoto--Painlevé pairs introduced by Okamoto \cite{O1} and \cite{STT02}. Two-dimensional locally $\mathbb{K}$-Nash groups

We give a classification of connected abelian locally (real) Nash groups of dimension two. We first consider Painlevé's description of meromorphic maps admitting an Algebraic Addition Theorem and analyse the algebraic dependence of such maps. We then give a classification of connected abelian locally complex Nash groups of dimension two, from which we deduce the corresponding real classification.

Painlevé VI equations with algebraic solutions and family of curves

In families of Painlevé VI differential equations having common algebraic solutions we classify all the members which come from geometry, i.e. the corresponding linear differential equations which are Picard-Fuchs associated to families of algebraic varieties. In our case, we have one family with zero dimensional fibers and all others are families of curves. We use the classification of families of elliptic curves with four singular fibers done by Herfurtner in 1992 and generalize the results of Doran in 2001 and Ben Hamed and Gavrilov in 2005.

Moduli spaces for linear differential equations and the Painlevé equations

In this paper, we give a systematic construction of ten isomonodromic families of connections of rank two on $\mathbb{P}^1$ inducing Painlevé equations. The classification of ten families is given by considering the Riemann-Hilbert morphism from a moduli space of connections with certain type of regular and irregular singularities to a corresponding catetorical moduli space of analytic data (i.e., ordinary monodromy, Stokes matrices and links), which is called the monodromy space. Classification of Isomonodromy Problems on Elliptic Curves

We consider the isomonodromy problems for flat $G$-bundles over punctured elliptic curves $Σ_τ$ with regular singularities of connections at marked points.
