We consider boundary conditions at the vertex of a star graph which make Schroedinger operators on the graph self-adjoint, in particular, the two-parameter family of such conditions invariant with respect to permutations of graph edges. It is proved that the corresponding operators can be approximated in the norm-resolvent sense by elements of another Schroedinger operator family on the same graph in which the delta coupling is imposed at the vertex and an additional point interaction is placed at each edge provided the coupling parameters are properly chosen.

Entanglement classes of permutation-symmetric qudit states: symmetric operations suffice

We analyse entanglement classes for permutation-symmetric states for n qudits (i.e. d-level systems), with respect to local unitary operations (LU-equivalence) and stochastic local operations and classical communication (SLOCC equivalence). Permutation-symmetric three-body O(6) hyperspherical harmonics in three spatial dimensions

We have constructed the three-body permutation symmetric O(6) hyperspherical harmonics which can be used to solve the non-relativistic three-body Schr{\" o}dinger equation in three spatial dimensions. We label the states with eigenvalues of the $U(1) \otimes SO(3)_{rot} \subset U(3) \subset O(6)$ chain of algebras and we present the corresponding $K \leq 4$ harmonics. Concrete transformation properties of the harmonics are discussed in some detail.

Quantum graph vertices with permutation-symmetric scattering probabilities

Boundary conditions in quantum graph vertices are generally given in terms of a unitary matrix $U$. Observing that if $U$ has at most two eigenvalues, then the scattering matrix $\mathcal{S}(k)$ of the vertex is a linear combination of the identity matrix and a fixed Hermitian unitary matrix, we construct vertex couplings with this property: For all momenta $k$, the transmission probability from the $j$-th edge to $\ell$-th edge is independent of $(j,\ell)$, and all the reflection probabilities are equal. Constraints on Maximal Entanglement Under Groups of Permutations

We provide a simplified characterization of entanglement in physical systems which are symmetric under the action of subgroups of the symmetric group acting on the party labels. Sets of entanglements are inherently equal, lying in the same orbit under the group action, which we demonstrate for cyclic, dihedral, and polyhedral groups. We then introduce new, generalized relationships for the maxima of those entanglement by exploiting the normalizer and normal subgroups of the physical symmetry group.

An equivalence of two constructions of permutation-twisted modules for lattice vertex operator algebras

On certain permutation representations of the braid group

This paper is devoted to the proof of a structural theorem, concerning certain homomorphic images of Artin braid group on $n$ strands in finite symmetric groups. It is shown that any one of these permutation groups is an extension of the symmetric group on $n$ letters by an appropriate abelian group, and in "half" of the cases this extension splits.

In arXiv:0910.1727 we find certain finite homomorphic images of Artin braid group into appropriate symmetric groups, which a posteriori are extensions of the symmetric group on n letters by an abelian group. Three-dimensionalizing the eight-vertex model

A simple ansatz is proposed for two-color R-matrix satisfying the tetrahedron equation. It generalizes, on one hand, a particular case of the eight-vertex model to three dimensions, and on another hand - Hietarinta's permutation-type operators to their linear combinations. Each separate R-matrix depends on one parameter, and the tetrahedron equation holds provided the quadruple of parameters belongs to an algebraic set containing five irreducible two-dimensional components.

The symmetric six-vertex model and the Segre cubic threefold

In this paper we investigate the mathematical properties of the integrability of the symmetric six-vertex model towards the view of Algebraic Geometry. We show that the algebraic variety originated from Baxter's commuting transfer method is birationally isomorphic to a ubiquitous threefold known as Segre cubic primal. This relation makes it possible to present the most generic solution for the Yang-Baxter triple associated to this lattice model. The respective $\mathrm{R}$-matrix and Lax operators are parametrized by three independent affine spectral variables.

A Vertex Operator Approach for Form Factors of Belavin's $(\mathbb{Z}/n\mathbb{Z})$-Symmetric Model and Its Application

A vertex operator approach for form factors of Belavin's $(\mathbb{Z}/n\mathbb{Z})$-symmetric model is constructed on the basis of bosonization of vertex operators in the $A^{(1)}_{n-1}$ model and vertex-face transformation. As simple application for $n=2$, we obtain expressions for $2m$-point form factors related to the $σ^z$ and $σ^x$ operators in the eight-vertex model.
