We study the scalar and Yukawa sectors of three Higgs doublets models with a generalized CP symmetry. We show that there are only four classes of scalar potentials, merely one more than in two Higgs doublet models (2HDM). In 2HDM with generalized CP symmetries extended to the Yukawa sector, there are only two possible cases: the usual CP, with 18 real Yukawa couplings; and a minimal generalized CP model, with 12 real Yukawa parameters. In contrast, with three Higgs there is a rich variety of allowed models. We classify all possible Yukawa textures, showing that there are 40 possibilities, several of which have only 10 real Yukawa couplings.

We consider beyond the standard model embedding of inert Higgs doublet fields. We argue that inert Higgs doublets can arise naturally in grand unified theories where the necessary associated $Z_2$ symmetry can occur automatically. Several examples are discussed.
In this talk, we report unitarity constraints and phenomenological studies at the Large Hadron Collider for the extra Higgs bosons of a Composite 2-Higgs Doublet Model.
We derive the complete set of continuous maximal symmetries for Standard Model (SM) alignment that may occur in the tree-level scalar potential of multi-Higgs Doublet Models, with $n > 2$ Higgs doublets. Our results generalize the symmetries of SM alignment, without decoupling of large mass scales or fine-tuning, previously obtained in the context of two-Higgs Doublet Models.
We investigate the new contributions to the parameters $g_L$ and $g_R$ of the $Z b \bar b$ vertex in a multi-Higgs-doublet model (MHDM). We emphasize that those contributions generally worsen the fit of those parameters to the experimental data. We propose a solution to this problem, wherein $g_R$ has the opposite sign from the one predicted by the Standard Model; this solution, though, necessitates light scalars and large Yukawa couplings in the MHDM.
In this paper, we propose a scheme for neutrino mass generation. A Higgs singlet is introduced in the Standard Model of particle physics (SM). All of this new singlet and the charged and neutral Higgs fields in the original Higgs doublet are assumed to have nonzero vacuum expectation values (VEVs). The normal hierarchy of neutrino masses is evidently preferred in our scheme. The neutrino masses are explicitly calculated.
With no conclusive signal till date of the minimal supersymmetric and extra dimensional models at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the issue of fine-tuning of the Higgs mass still calls for some attention. It could be very possible that the observed Higgs boson of mass 125 GeV has its origin in a non-supersymmetric extended scalar sector, and, it still has properties strikingly similar to the Standard Model Higgs. In such cases, however, one relies upon possible cancellations in the quadratic divergence of the Higgs mass to uphold naturalness. In this work, we have investigated this possibilit…
Following the discovery of a Higgs boson, there has been renewed interest in the general 2-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM). A model with One Inert Doublet plus One Higgs Doublet (I(1+1)HDM), where one of the scalar doublets is "inert" (since it has no vacuum expectation value and does not couple to fermions) has an advantage over the 2HDM since it provides a good Dark Matter (DM) candidate, namely the lightest inert scalar. Motivated by the existence of three fermion families, here we consider a model with two scalar doublets plus one Higgs doublet (I(2+1)HDM), where the two scalar doublets are ine…
We make a phenomenological study of a model with two inert doublets plus one Higgs doublet (I(2+1)HDM) which is symmetric under a Z$_2$ group, preserved after Electro-Weak Symmetry Breaking (EWSB) by the vacuum alignment $(0,0,v)$. This model may be regarded as an extension to the model with one inert doublet plus one Higgs doublet (I(1+1)HDM), by the addition of an extra inert scalar doublet. The neutral fields from the two inert doublets provide a viable Dark Matter (DM) candidate which is stabilised by the conserved $Z_2$ symmetry. We study the new Higgs decay channels offered by the scalar…
Gauge coupling unification is studied within the framework where there are extra Higgs doublets and $E_6$ exotic fields. Supersymmetric models and nonsupersymmetric models are investigated, and a catalog of models with gauge coupling unification is presented.
We study the Higgs derivative interactions on models including arbitrary number of the Higgs doublets. These interactions are generated by two ways. One is higher order corrections of composite Higgs models, and the other is integrating out heavy scalars and vectors. In the latter case, three point couplings between the Higgs doublets and them are the sources of the derivative interactions. The representations of these heavy particles are constrained to couple with the doublets. We explicitly calculate the all derivative interactions generated by integrating out. Their degrees of freedom and c…
We examine the implication of the 750 GeV diphoton resonance on the two-Higgs-doublet model imposing various theoretical and experimental constraints. The production rate of two-Higgs-doublet model is smaller than the cross section observed at the LHC by two order magnitude. In order to accommodate the 750 GeV diphoton resonance, we extend the two-Higgs-doublet model by introducing additional Higgs fields, and focus on two different extensions, an inert complex Higgs triplet and a real scalar septuplet. With the 125 GeV Higgs being agreement with the observed data, the production rate for the …
We discuss the Yukawa coupling unification, a very interesting prediction of the grand unified theory, in the context of scenarios with more than one pair of Higgs doublet since the current LHC constraint has become a problem for the Yukawa unification scenarios with just one pair of Higgs doublet. More than one pair of Higgs doublets can easily arise in missing partner mechanism which solves the doublet-triplet splitting problem. In such a scenario, the Yukawa unification occurs at a medium $\tanβ$ value, e.g., $\sim$ 30, which corresponds to much smaller threshold corrections compared to usu…
