We present results of simulations of light-nuclei production in Au+Au collisions at collision energy of $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=$ 3 GeV within updated Three-fluid Hydrodynamics-based Event Simulator Extended by UrQMD (Ultra-relativistic Quantum Molecular Dynamics) final State interactions (THESEUS). The results are compared with recent STAR data. The light-nuclei production is treated within the thermodynamical approach on equal basis with hadrons. The only additional parameter related to the light nuclei is the energy density of late freeze-out that imitates afterburner stage of the collision because the light nuclei do not participate in the UrQMD evolution. It is found that the late freeze-out is preferable for deuterons, tritons, and $^3$He. Remarkably, the $^4$He observables are better reproduced with the standard freeze-out. This suggests that the $^4$He nuclei better survive in the afterburner stage because they are more spatially compact and tightly bound objects. This is an argument in favor of dynamical treatment of light nuclei. The simulations indicate that the collision dynamics is determined by the hadronic phase. The calculated results reveal not perfect but a good reproduction of the data on bulk observables and directed flow. The elliptic flow turns out to be more intricate.
The density of accessible levels in the ($^3$He,$αγ$) reaction has been extracted for the $^{162}$Dy, $^{166}$Er and $^{172}$Yb nuclei. The nuclear temperature is measured as a function of excitation energy in the region of 0 -- 6 MeV. The temperature curves reveal structures indicating new degrees of freedom. The heat capacity of the nuclear system is discussed within the framework of a canonical ensemble.
We present results of simulations of light-nuclei production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions within updated Three-fluid Hydrodynamics-based Event Simulator Extended by UrQMD (Ultra-relativistic Quantum Molecular Dynamics) final State interactions (THESEUS). The simulations were performed for Pb+Pb and Au+Au collisions in the collision energy range of $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=$ 6.4--19.6 GeV. The light-nuclei production is treated within the thermodynamical approach on equal basis with hadrons. The only additional parameter related to the light nuclei is the energy density of late freeze-out that im…
A mean-field plus pairing model for atomic nuclei in the Fe region was studied using a finite-temperature quantum Monte-Carlo method. We present results for thermodynamical quantities such as the internal energy and the specific heat. These results give indications of a phase transition related to the pairing amongst nucleons, around temperatures of 0.7 MeV. The influence of the residual interaction and of the size of the model space on the nuclear level densities is discussed too.
Starting from the microscopic low-momentum nucleon-nucleon interaction V{low k}, we present the first systematic shell model study of magnetic moments and magnetic dipole transition strengths of the basic low-energy one-quadrupole phonon excitations in nearly-spherical nuclei. Studying in particular the even-even N=52 isotones from 92Zr to 100Cd, we find the predicted evolution of the predominantly proton-neutron non-symmetric state reveals a restoration of collective proton-neutron mixed-symmetry structure near mid-shell. This provides the first explanation for the existence of pronounced col…
A novel mechanism of prompt nuclear fragmentation is proposed. Assuming micro-canonical or canonical equilibrium, it is shown that a strong enhancement of the accessible phase space volume, due to the diffuceness of the nuclear surface, leads to dynamical instabilities of hot nuclei and to prompt fragmentation. Equations are derived for the transition temperature T_T, for which the thermodynamical surface tension vanishes, as well as for the thermodynamical fissility parameter chi_td.
Light nuclei and hyper-nuclei are produced in abundance in heavy-ion collisions. The production mechanism of these species in heavy-ion collisions still remains to be understood. In these proceedings, we report the transverse momentum and centrality dependence of elliptic flow ($v_2$) of $d$, $t$, and $^3\text{He}$ in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 14.6, 19.6, 27, and 54.4 GeV. Mass number scaling of $v_2(p_T)$ of light nuclei is shown. We also report the first observation of hyper-nuclei $^{3}_Λ$H and $^{4}_Λ$H directed flow ($v_1$) in $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 3 GeV mid-central (5-40\%) Au+Au…
The thermodynamical ground-state properties and static response in both cold atoms at or close to unitarity and neutron matter are determined using a recently proposed Density Functional Theory (DFT) based on the s-wave scattering length $a_s$, effective range $r_e$, and unitary gas limit. In cold atoms, when the effective range may be neglected, we show that the pressure, chemical potential, compressibility modulus and sound velocity obtained with the DFT are compatible with experimental observations or exact theoretical estimates. The static response in homogeneous infinite systems is also o…
The collective structure of atomic nuclei intermediate between spherical and quadrupole deformed structure presents challenges to theoretical understanding. However, models have recently been proposed in terms of potentials which are soft with respect to the quadrupole deformation variable beta. To test these models, information is needed on low-spin states of transitional nuclei. The present work involves measurement of electromagnetic decay properties of low-spin states for nuclei in the A=100 (gamma-soft) and N=90 (axially symmetric) transition regions. Population in beta-decay and thermal …
It is shown that the collinear tripartition in the case of spontaneous fission of 252Cf generically follows the principles of the collective Bohr's model. Qualitative consideration is supported by the numerical trajectory calculations.
Interplay of collective and single-particle degrees of freedom is a common phenomenon in strongly correlated many-body systems. Despite many successful efforts in the study of superdeformed nuclei, there is still unexplored physics that can be best understood only through the nuclear magnetic properties. We point out that study of the gyromagnetic factor (g-factor) may open a unique opportunity for understanding superdeformed structure. Our calculations suggest that investigation of the g-factor dependence on spin and particle number can provide important information on single-particle structu…
The dynamics present in the fusion of neutron-rich nuclei is explored through the comparison of experimental cross-sections at above-barrier energies with measurements of the interaction cross-section at relativistic energies. The increase of fusion dynamics with increasing neutron excess is clearly demonstrated. Experimental cross-sections are compared with the predictions of a Sao Paulo model using relativistic mean field density distributions and the impact of different interactions is explored.
An adiabatic approximation to the selfconsistent collective coordinate method is formulated in order to describe large amplitude collective motions in superconducting nuclei on the basis of the time-dependent Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov equations of motion. The basic equations are presented in a local harmonic form which can be solved in a similar way as the quasiparticle RPA equations. The formalism guarantees the conservation of nucleon number expectation values. An extension to the multi-dimensional case is also discussed.
We present a new analysis of the pairing vibrations around 56Ni, with emphasis on odd-odd nuclei. This analysis of the experimental excitation energies is based on the subtraction of average properties that include the full symmetry energy together with volume, surface and Coulomb terms. The results clearly indicate a collective behavior of the isovector pairing vibrations and do not support any appreciable collectivity in the isoscalar channel.
In addition to shape oscillations, low-energy excitation spectra of deformed nuclei are also influenced by pairing vibrations. The simultaneous description of these collective modes and their coupling has been a long-standing problem in nuclear structure theory. Here we address the problem in terms of self-consistent mean-field calculations of collective deformation energy surfaces, and the framework of the interacting boson approximation. In addition to quadrupole shape vibrations and rotations, the explicit coupling to pairing vibrations is taken into account by a boson-number non-conserving…
Parity and time invariance violating forces produce collective P- and T- odd moments in nuclei with static octupole deformation. Collective Schiff moment, electric octupole and dipole and also magnetic quadrupole appear due to the mixing of rotational levels of opposite parity and can exceed single-particle moments by more than a factor of 100. This enhancement is due to two factors, the collective nature of the intrinsic moments and the small energy separation between members of parity doublets. The above moments induce T- and P- odd effects in atoms and molecules. Experiments with such syste…
A systematic analysis of the fusion cross sections around the Coulomb barrier energies with stable weakly bound ($^{6}$Li,$^{7}$Li,$^{9}$Be) and strongly bound $^{12}$C projectiles on various targets was performed by using neutron flow model and coupled channels approach. The analysis show that both the models are successful in explaining the near barrier fusion data. Further, it is also observed that the collective degrees of freedom as well as the neutron flow influence the near barrier fusion process involving weakly bound projectiles.
Four decades ago, Tomonaga proposed the elementary theory of quantum mechanical collective motion of two-dimensional nuclei of N nucleons. The theory is based essentially on the neglect of 1/sqrtN against unity. Very recently we have given exact canonically conjugate momenta to quadrupole-type collective coordinates under some subsidiary conditions and have derived nuclear quadrupole-type collective Hamiltonian. Even in the case of simple two-dimensional nuclei, we have a subsidiary condition to obtain exact canonical variables. Particularly the structure of the collective subspace satisfying …
The ATDHFB approach has been applied for a study of properties of collective quadrupole states in several transactinide nuclei: 238U, 240Pu, 242Pu, 246Cm, 248Cm, 250Cf and 252Cf. Calculated energies and B(E2) transition probabilities are in a reasonable agreement with experimental data. Results concerning superdeformed collective states in the 240Pu nucleus are also presented.
The relation of the shell, collective and cluster models of the atomic nuclei is discussed from the viewpoint of symmetries. In the fifties the U(3) symmetry was found as their common part for a single shell problem. For multi major-shell excitations, considered here, the U(3)$\otimes$U(3) dynamical symmetry turns out to be their intersection.
Background: Collective excitations of nuclei and their theoretical descriptions provide an insight into the structure of nuclei. Replacing traditional phenomenological interactions with unitarily transformed realistic nucleon-nucleon interactions increases the predictive power of the theoretical calculations for exotic or deformed nuclei. Purpose: Extend the application of realistic interactions to deformed nuclei and compare the performance of different interactions, including phenomenological interactions, for collective excitations in the sd-shell. Method: Ground-state energies and charge r…
We discuss the role of the broken symmetries in the connection of the shell, collective and cluster models. The cluster-shell competition is described in terms of cold quantum phases. Stable quasi-dynamical U(3) symmetry is found for specific large deformations for a Nilsson-type Hamiltonian.
We review recent studies of the evolution of collective excitations in atomic nuclei far from the valley of $β$-stability. Collective degrees of freedom govern essential aspects of nuclear structure, and for several decades the study of collective modes such as rotations and vibrations has played a vital role in our understanding of complex properties of nuclei. The multipole response of unstable nuclei and the possible occurrence of new exotic modes of excitation in weakly-bound nuclear systems, present a rapidly growing field of research, but only few experimental studies of these phenomena …
We discuss the application of a theory of large-amplitude collective motion to a simple model mimicking the pairing-plus-quadrupole model of nuclear physics.
The generalized Bohr Hamiltonian was used to describe the low-lying collective excitations in even-even isotopes of Ru, Pd, Te, Ba and Nd. The Strutinsky collective potential and cranking inertial functions were obtained using the Nilsson potential. The effect of coupling with the pairing vibrations is taken into account approximately when determining the inertial functions. The calculation does not contain any free parameter.
Some developments of nuclear-structure physics uniquely related to Copenhagen School are sketched based on theoretical considerations versus experimental findings and one-particle versus collective aspects. Based on my personal overview I pick up the following topics; (1) Study of vibration in terms of particle-vibration coupling; (2) One-particle motion in deformed and rotating potentials, and yrast spectroscopy in high-spin physics; (3) Triaxial shape in nuclei: wobbling motion and chiral bands; (4) Nuclear structure of drip line nuclei: in particular, shell-structure (or magic numbers) chan…
The nuclear shell model assumes an effective mean-field plus interaction Hamiltonian in a specific configuration space. We want to understand how various interaction matrix elements affect the observables, the collectivity in nuclei and the nuclear level density for odd-A and odd-odd nuclei. Using the sd and pf shells, we vary specific groups of matrix elements and study the evolution of energy levels, transition rates and the level density. In all cases studied, a transition between a "normal" and a collective phase is induced, accompanied by an enhancement of the level density in the collect…
Quadrupole transition densities in neutron-rich nuclei in the vicinity of the neutron drip-line are calculated in the framework of the Random Phase Approximation. The continuum is treated by expansion in oscillator functions. We focus on the states which contribute to the usual Giant Quadrupole Resonance, and not on the low-lying strength which is also expected in such nuclei and whose collective character is still under debate. We find that, due to the large neutron skin in these nuclei, the isoscalar and isovector modes are in general strongly mixed. We further show that the transition densi…
Based on available experimental data, a new set of Nilsson parameters is proposed for proton-rich nuclei with proton or neutron numbers $28\leq N\leq 40$. The resulting single-particle spectra are compared with those from relativistic and non-relativistic mean field theories. Collective excitations in some even--even proton-rich nuclei in the upper $pf$ shell are investigated using the Projected Shell Model with the new Nilsson basis. It is found that the regular bands are sharply disturbed by band crossings involving $1g_{9/2}$ neutrons and protons. Physical quantities for exploring the natur…
Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series B, 98(1):173-225, 2008n exotic nuclei are studied in the framework of a fully self-consistent relativistic continuum random phase approximation (RCRPA). In this method the contribution of the continuum spectrum to nuclear excitations is treated exactly by the single particle Green's function. Different from the cases in stable nuclei, there are strong low-energy excitations in neutron-rich nuclei and proton-rich nuclei. The neutron or proton excess pushes the centroid of the strength function to lower energies and increases the fragmentation of the stren…
The damping of the collective vibrations in hot nuclei is studied within the semiclassical Vlasov-Landau kinetic theory. The extention of the method of independent sources of dissipation is used to allow for irreversible energy transfer by chaos weighted wall formula. The expressions for the intrinsic width of the giant multipole resonances are obtained. The interplay between the one-body and the two-body channels which contribute to the formation of the intrinsic width in nuclei is discussed.
We have carried out a unified microscopic study of electric monopole, quadrupole and magnetic dipole excitations in fast rotating nuclei undergoing backbending, with special attention at the magnetic excitations. We found, among other results, that the strength of the orbital magnetic dipole excitations (scissors mode) gets enhanced by more than a factor four at high rotational frequency, above the backbending region. We provide a physical explanation for such an enhancement.
Low-lying collective states in nuclei are investigated in the framework of the interacting boson model using an ensemble of random many-body interactions. It is shown that whenever the number of bosons is sufficiently large compared to the rank of the interactions, the spectral properties are characterized by a dominance of L(P)=0(+) ground states and the occurrence of both vibrational and rotational band structures. This indicates that these features represent a general and robust property of the collective model space.
The effect of coupling between pairing and quadrupole triaxial shape vibrations on the low-energy collective states of $γ$-soft nuclei is investigated using a model based on the framework of nuclear energy density functionals (EDFs). Employing a constrained self-consistent mean-field (SCMF) method that uses universal EDFs and pairing interactions, potential energy surfaces of characteristic $γ$-soft Os and Pt nuclei with $A\approx190$ are calculated as functions of the pairing and triaxial quadrupole deformations. Collective spectroscopic properties are computed using a number-nonconserving in…
Conflicting coupling of unpaired nucleons in the odd-odd nuclei is discussed. A very simple explanation is suggested for the damping of the energy spacing of the lowest levels in the rotational bands in the odd-odd nuclei in the case of a "conflicting" coupling of the odd proton and neutron comparative to those of the bands based on the state of the strongly-coupled particle in the neighbouring odd nuclei entering the "conflicting" configuration.
The adiabatic self-consistent collective coordinate (ASCC) method is a practical method for the description of large-amplitude collective motion in atomic nuclei with superfluidity and an advanced version of the adiabatic time-dependent Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov theory. We investigate the gauge symmetry in the ASCC method on the basis of the theory of constrained systems. The gauge symmetry in the ASCC method is originated from the constraint on the particle number in the collective Hamiltonian, and it is partially broken by the adiabatic expansion. The validity of the adiabatic expansion under …
We propose a collective model formalism which describes the strong parity shift observed in low-lying spectra of nuclei with octupole deformations together with the fine rotational band structure developed at higher angular momenta. The parity effect is obtained by the Schroedinger equation for oscillations of the reflection asymmetric (octupole) shape between two opposite orientations in an angular momentum dependent double-well potential. The rotational structure is obtained by a collective quadrupole-octupole rotation Hamiltonian. The model scheme reproduces the complicated beat staggering …
To study shape fluctuations of nuclei in transitional regions, the collective Hamiltonian method has often been employed. We intend to construct the quadrupole collective Hamiltonian with the collective inertial functions given by the local quasiparticle random-phase approximation (QRPA) based on the Skyrme energy density functional. For this purpose, we first construct a practical framework of Skyrme QRPA for triaxial nuclear shapes with the finite amplitude method (FAM). We show quadrupole strength functions for a triaxial superfluid nucleus $^{188}$Os and the Thouless-Valatin rotational mom…
A new Nilsson single-particle structure is proposed for neutron-rich nuclei near $^{132}$Sn. In general, a large reduction in spin-orbit interaction is required and the neutron $N = 82$ gap persists in the new set of parameters. The ground state deformations for several isotopic chains are studied with this set and compared with the results of the standard set and with measured ones. Collective bands in two even-even, neutron-rich nuclei are calculated using the Projected Shell Model with the new set of parameters and improved agreement with existing data is found.
A model is presented that simultaneously describes shape coexistence and quadrupole and octupole collective excitations within a theoretical framework based on the nuclear density functional theory and the interacting boson model. An optimal interacting-boson Hamiltonian that incorporates the configuration mixing between normal and intruder states, as well as the octupole degrees of freedom, is identified by means of self-consistent mean-field calculations using a universal energy density functional and a pairing interaction, with constraints on the triaxial quadrupole and the axially-symmetri…
We point out that during the supernova II type explosion the thermodynamical condition of stellar matter between the protoneutron star and the shock front corresponds to the nuclear liquid-gas phase coexistence region, which can be investigated in nuclear multifragmentation reactions. We have demonstrated, that neutron-rich hot heavy nuclei can be produced in this region. The production of these nuclei may influence dynamics of the explosion and contribute to the synthesis of heavy elements.
Results for ab initio no-core shell model calculations in a symmetry-adapted SU(3)-based coupling scheme demonstrate that collective modes in light nuclei emerge from first principles. The low-lying states of 6Li, 8Be, and 6He are shown to exhibit orderly patterns that favor spatial configurations with strong quadrupole deformation and complementary low intrinsic spin values, a picture that is consistent with the nuclear symplectic model. The results also suggest a pragmatic path forward to accommodate deformation-driven collective features in ab initio analyses when they dominate the nuclear …
Collective states in cold nuclei are represented by a wave function that assigns coherent phases to the participating nucleons. The degree of coherence decreases with excitation energy above the yrast line because of coupling to the increasingly dense background of quasiparticle excitations. The consequences of decoherence are discussed, starting with the well studied case of rotational damping. In addition to superdeformed bands, a highly excited oblate band is presented as a new example of screening from rotational damping. Suppression of pair correlation leads to incoherent thermal M1 radia…
The three-dimensional cranking model is used to investigate the microscopic aspects of the rotation of nuclei with the tetrahedral symmetry. Two classes of rotation axes are studied corresponding to two different discrete symmetries of the rotating hamiltonian. Self-consistent Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov calculations show that the tetrahedral minimum remains remarkably stable until the first single-particle crossing.
We present a new method by which wavefunctions with simple structure are renormalized so as to contain more complicated structure. This method, called $H^n$-cooling method, is applied to the study of the quadrupole collective motion of $^{56}$Fe, $^{54}$Cr, $^{58}$Fe and $^{56}$Cr. The shell-model wavefunctions of lowest-lying states of these nuclei are well treated by this method. By using the wavefunctions obtained via the $H^n$-cooling method, IBM-2 parameters are derived from a realistic shell-model hamiltonian and transition operators. The Majorana interaction becomes sizably repulsive, p…
The generalized density matrix (GDM) method is used to calculate microscopically the parameters of the collective Hamiltonian. Higher order anharmonicities are obtained consistently with the lowest order results, the mean field [Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB) equation] and the harmonic potential [quasiparticle random phase approximation (QRPA)]. The method is applied to soft spherical nuclei, where the anharmonicities are essential for restoring the stability of the system, as the harmonic potential becomes small or negative. The approach is tested in three models of increasing complexity: the …
The description of the energiy spectra of $0^{+}$ states for rare-earth nuclei has been done involving the degree of the collectivity of corresponding $0^{+}$-state as a systematics parameter. Holshtein-Primakoff representation leads to very good agreement with experiment. Within the framework of this approach the parameter of the collectivity is mainly determined by pairs of particles constructed on single ''effective'' level. The results may be helpful both for nuclear structure experimentalists and theorists in their investigations of low-lying states structure and transition probabilities.
We study relationships between properties of collective excitations in finite nuclei and the phase transition density $n_t$ and pressure $P_t$ at the inner edge separating the liquid core and the solid crust of a neutron star. A theoretical framework that includes the thermodynamic method, relativistic nuclear energy density functionals and the quasiparticle random-phase approximation is employed in a self-consistent calculation of $(n_t,P_t)$ and collective excitations in nuclei. The covariance analysis shows that properties of charge-exchange dipole transitions, isovector giant dipole and qu…
A supersymmetric extension of the dynamical symmetry group $Sp^{B}(12,R)$ of the Interacting Vector Boson Model (IVBM), to the orthosymplectic group $OSp(2Ω/12,R)$ is developed in order to incorporate fermion degrees of freedom into the nuclear dynamics and to encompass the treatment of odd mass nuclei. The bosonic sector of the supergroup is used to describe the complex collective spectra of the neighboring even-even nuclei and is considered as a core structure of the odd nucleus. The fermionic sector is represented by the fermion spin group $SO^{F}(2Ω)\supset SU^{F}(2)$. The so obtained, new…
We formulate a continuum linear response theory on the basis of the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov formalism in the coordinate space representation in order to describe low-lying and high-lying collective excitations which couple to one-particle and two-particle continuum states. Numerical analysis is done for the neutron drip-line nucleus $^{24}$O. A low-lying collective mode that emerges above the continuum threshold with large neutron strength is analyzed. The collective state is sensitive to the density-dependence of the pairing. The present theory satisfies accurately the energy weighted sum rul…
Octupole correlations in the low-energy collective states of neutron-rich nuclei with the neutron number $N\approx56$ are studied within the interacting boson model (IBM) that is based on the nuclear density functional theory. The constrained self-consistent mean-field (SCMF) calculations using a universal energy density functional and a pairing interaction provide the potential energy surfaces in terms of the axially-symmetric quadrupole and octupole deformations for the even-even nuclei $^{86-94}$Se, $^{88-96}$Kr, $^{90-98}$Sr, $^{92-100}$Zr, and $^{94-102}$Mo. The SCMF energy surface is the…
We investigate the thermodynamical content of a cellular model which describes nuclear fragmentation as a process taking place in an excited disordered system. The model which reproduces very well the size distribution of fragments does not show the existence of a first order phase transition.
The Heavy Shell Model (HSM) (Y. Sun and C.-L. Wu, Phys. Rev. C 68, 024315 (2003)) was proposed to take the advantages of two existing models, the projected shell model (PSM) and the Fermion Dynamical Symmetry Model (FDSM). To construct HSM, one extends the PSM by adding collective D-pairs into the intrinsic basis. The HSM is expected to describe simultaneously low-lying collective and quasi-particle excitations in deformed nuclei, and still keeps the model space tractable even for the heaviest systems. As the first numerical realization of the HSM, we study systematically the band structures f…
A systematic study of $γ$-bands observed in atomic nuclei is performed using the triaxial projected shell model (TPSM) approach. The staggering phase between the even and odd spin members of the $γ$-band for most the nuclei investigated in the present work is found to have even-I-below-odd-I, which in the framework of the collective model is considered as a signature of $γ$-softness. It is observed that out of twenty-three systems studied, only four nuclei, namely, $^{76}$Ge, $^{112}$Ru, $^{170}$Er and $^{232}$Th depict staggering phase with odd-I-below-even-I, which is regarded as an indicati…
The generalized Bohr Hamiltonian is applied to a description of low-lying collective excitations in even-even isotopes of Te, Xe, Ba, Ce, Nd and Sm. The collective potential and inertial functions are determined by means of the Strutinsky method and the cranking model, respectively. A shell-dependent parametrization of the Nilsson potential is used. An approximate particle-number projection is performed in treatment of pairing correlations. The effect of coupling with the pairing vibrations is taken into account approximately when determining the inertial functions. The calculation does not co…
We examine the coexistence of spherical and $γ$-unstable deformed nuclear shapes, described by an SO(5)-invariant Bohr Hamiltonian, along the critical-line. Calculations are performed in the Algebraic Collective Model by introducing two separate bases, optimized to accommodate simultaneously different forms of dynamics. We demonstrate the need to modify the $β$-dependence of the moments of inertia, in order to obtain an adequate description of such shape-coexistence.
We present the basic concepts and our recent developments in the density functional approaches with the Skyrme functionals for describing nuclear dynamics at low energy. The time-dependent density-functional theory (TDDFT) is utilized for the exact linear response with an external perturbation. For description of collective dynamics beyond the perturbative regime, we present a theory of a decoupled collective submanifold to describe for a slow motion based on the TDDFT. Selected applications are shown to demonstrate the quality of their performance and feasibility. Advantages and disadvantages…
