Using the $3D$ mirror symmetry we construct a system of polynomials $T_s(z)$ with integral coefficients which solve the quantum differential equitation of $X=T^{*} Gr(k,n)$ modulo $p^s$, where $p$ is a prime number. We show that the sequence $T_s(z)$ converges in the $p$-adic norm to the Okounkov's vertex function of $X$ as $s\to \infty$. We prove that $T_s(z)$ satisfy Dwork-type congruences which lead to a new infinite product presentation of the vertex function modulo $p^s$.
We postulate axioms for a chiral half of a nonarchimedean 2-dimensional bosonic conformal field theory, that is, a vertex operator algebra in which a p-adic Banach space replaces the traditional Hilbert space. We study some consequences of our axioms leading to the construction of various examples, including p-adic commutative Banach rings and p-adic versions of the Virasoro, Heisenberg, and the Moonshine module vertex operator algebras. Serre p-adic modular forms occur naturally in some of these examples as limits of classical 1-point functions.
We introduce the $h$-adic quantum vertex algebras associated with the rational $R$-matrix in types $B$, $C$ and $D$, thus generalizing the Etingof--Kazhdan's construction in type $A$. Next, we construct the algebraically independent generators of the center of the $h$-adic quantum vertex algebra in type $B$ at the critical level, as well as the families of central elements in types $C$ and $D$. Finally, as an application, we obtain commutative subalgebras of the dual Yangian and the families of central elements of the appropriately completed double Yangian at the critical level, in types $B$, …
For three-partition triple Hodge integrals related to the topological vertex, we derive Eynard-Orantin type recursion relations from the cut-and-join equation. This establishes a version of local mirror symmetry for the local $C^3$ geometry with three D-branes, as proposed by Marino and Bouchard-Klemm-Marino-Pasquetti.
We prove the Bouchard-Mariño Conjecture for the framed one-legged topological vertex by deriving the Eynard-Orantin type recursion relations from the cut-and-join equation satisfied by the relevant triple Hodge integrals. This establishes a version of local mirror symmetry for the local $C^3$ geometry with one $D$-brane.
Following the idea of Aganagic--Okounkov \cite{AOelliptic}, we study vertex functions for hypertoric varieties, defined by $K$-theoretic counting of quasimaps from $\mathbb{P}^1$. We prove the 3d mirror symmetry statement that the two sets of $q$-difference equations of a 3d hypertoric mirror pairs are equivalent to each other, with Kähler and equivariant parameters exchanged, and the opposite choice of polarization. Vertex functions of a 3d mirror pair, as solutions to the $q$-difference equations, satisfying particular asymptotic conditions, are related by the elliptic stable envelopes. Vari…
Aganagic and Okounkov proved that the elliptic stable envelope provides the pole cancellation matrix for the enumerative invariants of quiver varieties known as vertex functions. This transforms a basis of a system of $q$-difference equations holomorphic in $\boldsymbol{z}$ with poles in $\boldsymbol{a}$ to a basis of solutions holomorphic in $\boldsymbol{a}$ with poles in $\boldsymbol{z}$. The resulting functions are expected to be the vertex functions of the 3d mirror dual variety. In this paper, we prove that for the cotangent bundle of the full flag variety, the functions obtained in this …
Let $X$ be a Nakajima quiver variety and $X'$ its $3d$-mirror. We consider the action of the Picard torus $\mathsf{K}=\mathrm{Pic}(X)\otimes \mathbb{C}^{\times}$ on $X'$. Assuming that $(X')^{\mathsf{K}}$ is finite, we propose a formula for the $\mathsf{K}$-character of the tangent spaces at the fixed points in terms of certain enumerative invariants of $X$ known as vertex functions.
We show that complex multiplication on abelian varieties is equivalent to the existence of a constant rational Kähler metric. We give a sufficient condition for a mirror of an abelian variety of CM-type to be of CM-type as well. We also study the relationship between complex multiplication and rationality of a toroidal lattice vertex algebra.
In this paper we prove a formula relating the equivariant Euler characteristic of $K$-theoretic stable envelopes to an object known as the index vertex for the cotangent bundle of the full flag variety. Our formula demonstrates that the index vertex is the power series expansion of a rational function. This result is a consequence of the 3d mirror self-symmetry of the variety considered here. In general, one expects an analogous result to hold for any two varieties related by 3d mirror symmetry.
We derive an integral expression for the leading-order type I-I-I three-point functions in the $\mathfrak{su}(2) $-sector of $\mathcal{N}=4$ super Yang-Mills theory, for which no determinant formula is known. To this end, we first map the problem to the partition function of the six vertex model with a hexagonal boundary. The advantage of the six-vertex model expression is that it reveals an extra symmetry of the problem, which is the invariance under 90$^{\circ}$ rotation. On the spin-chain side, this corresponds to the exchange of the quantum space and the auxiliary space and is reminiscent …
We study the simplest example of mirror symmetry for 3d $\mathcal N=4$ SUSY gauge theories: the A-twist of a free hypermultiplet and the B-twist of SQED. We particularly focus on the category of line operators in each theory. Using the work of Costello-Gaiotto, we define these categories as appropriate categories of modules for the boundary vertex operator algebras present in each theory. For the A-twist of a free hyper, this will be a certain category of modules for the $βγ$ VOA, properly containing the category previously studied by Allen-Wood. Applying the work of Creutzig-Kanade-McRae and …
In this paper, we explore a consequence of symplectic duality (also known as 3d mirror symmetry) in the setting of enumerative geometry. The theory of quasimaps allows one to associate hypergeometric functions called vertex functions to quiver varieties. In this paper, we prove a formula which relates the vertex functions of $T^*Gr(k,n)$ and its symplectic dual. In the course of the proof, we study a family of $q$-difference operators which act diagonally on Macdonald polynomials. Our results may be interpreted from a combinatorial perspective as providing an evaluation formula for a $q$-Selbe…
The method of topological vertex for topological string theory on toric Calabi-Yau 3-folds is reviewed. Implications of an explicit formula of partition functions in the "on-strip" case, typically the generalized conifolds, are considered. Generating functions of part of the partition functions are shown to be tau functions of the KP hierarchy. The associated Baker-Akhiezer functions play the role of wave functions, and satisfy $q$-difference equations. These $q$-difference equations represent the quantum mirror curves conjectured by Gukov and Sułkowski.
